Posted on 10/31/2004 5:17:38 AM PST by Connservative

Traditionally, most Dem voters stay home if the weather is inclement.

You will all be happy to know that there is a 70% chance for thunderstorms November 2nd :)

Woo Hoo! is right. Bush's base is energized and Kerry's base ahs already been bussed in. Who's a little rain more apt to stop?

I can relax now and not have to worry about hanging out at the polls all day supressing the vote like Karl Rove asked. *sarcasm*

Cincinnati is largely Republican. How's the weather going to be in heavily-Democrat Cleveland?

Thinking people should not vote, due to your opinion of their opinion, is fundementally flawed.

Voting is central to our society. Don't celebrate apathy. It's one of the reasons we are in a mess.

It is even more important that the weather be lousy in Cleveland.

Cleveland Tuesday: 80 % chance of precipitation, rain and thunder predicted. Showers will begin the night before so it looks like a sizable system which will (hopefully) blanket everything from Illinois to eastern PA.

Don't celebrate apathy. It's one of the reasons we are in a mess.

I will celebrate the apathy of people who are too gullible and intelectually lazy to understand who and what they are voting for in one of the most important elections in our nation's history.

It would be far better for these people to stay away from the polls than to inflict their idiotic choices on the rest of us.

I keep watching this map...

Those battleground states really look good in green. And they'll look even better in RED!

There are thunderstorms predicted all day Tuesday in Philadelphia. Also T-Storms in NYC area (Nassau County) where Republican Jim Garner is running a strong campaign against Carolyn McCarthy. Mayor Garner is a self-made African American small business owner from Hempstead. I encourage ALL Garner supporters to get out and put this good man in the U.S. House of Representatives.

I would insert the word "informed" before your statement, because uninformed voting is just so much mental m*sturbation. (I almost can't believe I said that on a Sunday morning!) Unfortunately, most of the people voting for sKedwards are of high-school level (or less) in their personality development, and are engaging in that act, rather than exercising a civic duty to inform themselves of the issues, the candidates, their fitness to lead and their integrity, or what their vote means to the future of our country. An uninformed voter is a dangerous weapon in the hands of our enemies.

Guess both parties will get wet in Cincinatti.

Then shame on us in this day and age for not reaching them with the truth. The Left gains a big advantage in the psyops war IMHO when the Right hopes and prays for lower voter turnout, particularly because of weather. It reinforces all the myths about disenfranchisement.

We should reach out to the masses and convince them that our platform is better for them than their platform, because it IS better. Then we should hope that EVERYONE who is eligible votes.

I realize this is a paradigm shift for a lot of folks out there, but this is what we need to do. Playing in to that would be implementing a national voter card like they have in Mexico. This endless and divisive battle over eligibility and issues of disenfranchisement must end.

We should embrace a one-person, one-vote, no-bullshit mindset. The Right has the right answer for EVERYBODY.
