As if things weren't complicated enough, here comes the dirt.
Registered voters who have been somehow unregistered. Democrats who suddenly find they've been re-registered as Republicans. A flier announcing that Election Day has been extended through Wednesday.
Dirty tricks are a staple of campaigns, but election officials say this year's could achieve new highs in numbers and new lows in scope, especially in key battleground states such as Florida and Ohio, where special-interest groups have poured in to influence the neck-and-neck race between President Bush and Sen. John F. Kerry.
"In my 16 years as an election administrator, I've never seen anything like this," said Ion Sancho, supervisor of elections in Leon County, Fla. "I see it as an expression of a political culture that has evolved in the United States of win at any cost. It's not partisan, but it's just lie, cheat and steal, and ethics be damned."

MSM is in fullassault mode. Get these alleged abuses documented in the paper prior to election day so Dems can run to court with public sentiment in their favor.

Is this Nation wide? So Election Day is now Tuesday and Wednesday?
This can't JUST be for FL right? It would have to be the same across the board?
Disgusting is right. I was just thinking yesterday how very unsavory it is to see the Dems delivering the "vote" to voters on a silver platter. I mean, voting is a very special thing to me, and nobody needs to take me to get registered, bus me to the polling place, etc. I proudly do all that myself. If there are people who need this kind of special treatment, maybe they just shouldn't BE voting.
Oh, how I long for Wednesday morning. This election is wearing me down.
There used to be Republican machines that could cheat head-to-head with the Democrats, but most of them have faded away.
The Nassau County Republicans could pack enough ballots to counterweigh the New York Democrats to some extent, but no longer. The downstate Republican machine in Illinois could counteract the Democrats in Chicago, but I imagine that's fading too.
The Democrats have grown more and more corrupt, and the Republicans have lost their machines, so as you say now the cheating is almost all on one side.
They can get away with it too, because the media not only give them a free pass, but cheer them on.
What difference does it make what party you are registered in? It's the vote that counts.
I know guys that are registered dems that hate the party and always vote GOP. They don't change parties because they like to keep up on what the enemy is up to. I know other guys that doing that with the opposite party.

Repubs are so gutless sometimes. They need to pass federal legislation that carries mandatory prison time for anybody caught registering an illegible voter, voting in two places in the same election, paying people to vote, etc. This will never change until people do hard time for manipulating the democratic process.
If Bush loses this election due to fraud, I guarantee people will start taking voter fraud into their own hands.
Dems think they get upset when they lose elections? Try stealing an election from Repubs and see who reaches for the ammo first. Dems have no idea...

I hope they catch those dirty dem cheaters that are pretending to be Republicans.
The fraud is so great that Congress starts impeachment proceedings against Kerry and Edwards. Both Kerry and Edwards resign when it becomes apparent that they both will be voted out of office. Dennis Hastert takes the reigns to the US presidency and selects an excellent VP. Hastert does not seek a 2nd term.
The outstanding VP runs for president against Hillary and easily defeats her, which ends the Clinton chapter in US politics.

My son told her not to do this. Though he's a Republican, he registered as an Independent.
He received voter information in the mail. She did not.
She called the state agency and asked why her husband received it but she did not.
A woman at the agency said, "I'll have to get back to you. She did. She then said, "You have been de-registered."
"How did that happen?" my daughter-in-law asked.
"I'll have to get back to you," the agency woman said again. She did. "It must have happened when you changed addresses," she said.
"My husband changed addresses the same time I did," my daughter in law said. "Why wasn't he de-registered?"
The agency woman didn't know.
My daughter-in-law re-registered.
Then my son received additional voter information in the mail. She didn't.
She's now trying to find out if she's been de-registered again.
Obviously, people have to be prosecuted before these anti-democratic abuses are curtailed.
