CIA IS OUT TO DESTROY OUR PRESIDENT
To The Point ^ | 10/29/2004 | Dr. Jack Wheeler

Posted on 10/31/2004 12:45:51 PM PST by coffee260

Since new CIA Director Porter Goss blocked the October Surprise agency left-wingers had prepared against Bush (discussed in “Porter At The Pass” last week), they desperately rigged another one, working with Mohammad ElBaradei at the UN.

What nobody is focusing on in Al Qaqaagate is that the CIA is behind it. The anti-Bush lefties are now known as the “Rogue Weasels” at Langley, and they are frantic to do whatever they can to elect Kerry. They cooked up this entire phony “tons of missing explosives” scandal, sweet-talked the head of the UN’s nuclear inspection agency, ElBaradei, to carry their water and leak it to CBS -- which drooled at the opportunity to spring the story on election eve. They then briefed Kerry and prepared his instant assault on Bush once the surprise broke.

But some clever pro-Bush Langley folks, seeing they couldn’t spike the story at CBS, sweet-talked the New York Times into jumping the gun, spoiling the surprise and giving the Bush campaign time to tear the phony scandal apart. Then they leaked it to Drudge, whose website promptly blew the lid off the whole scam.

The Al Qaqaa scandal (the site of the “missing” explosives in Iraq is named Al Qaqaa – isn’t that just too beautiful?) becomes Al Qaqaagate, and Kerry ends up looking like the opportunist fool he is, so clueless he doesn’t realize he’s accusing American soldiers in Iraq of “incredible incompetence” rather than Bush.

This was the last gasp of the Rogue Weasels. Porter’s Purge is coming – upwards of eighty Bush-hating left-wing Kerry stooges are going to be fired at the CIA in November. Looks like the pro-America guys are going to be running the Company once again.

over and done with now. But the CIA was his main weapon and he allowed it to continue stabbing him in the back instead of going after terrorists. Bin Lade might not exist now if we had Reagan's CIA and Casey as director.

Elaborate, please. Whatever you think of Tenet, a fall guy was needed, and a good justification needed for a cleanup.
Sacking Tenet would have been good management and good politics.
NO?

I did not write "TOO Late". It should have been done in 2001. Every president, when the party changes, should clean house as much as possible, especially in the Security agencies and State Department. The Democrats always do and the Republicans never do. So we have a Republican President of a largely Democrat and Liberal administration. The retained Democrats use most of their energy trying to thwart the President.

It's going to be ugly tomorrow at the UN too. Be ready for it.

You are so right. I hope the U.N. event being so CLOSE to election day, that voters will see through the evil transparency!

Um, whatever your opinions are, consider me in the "who cares" category, Mr. "Bush aided terrorism".

Many conservatives were bashed on this very forum for criticizing the President for not cleaning house in the CIA, FBI, State Department,

I don't doubt you, but I must have missed it. Can you provide links?

The CIA has been full of Ivy League geeks for ages. (The old OSI bunch who helped win the Cold War have been gone for years.) Many are far-left Democrats who joined the organization to "reform" it from the inside. Either that or they got degrees in statistical analysis and decided it was a good place to spend 20 years getting a big salary with perks without having to do much of anything except issue worthless reports once in awhile. Need to sh*tcan the organization and start from scratch using street-wise people instead elitist nerds.

Goss needs to go through the CIA like a Fleet's enema.

The CIA in the last few years has been about as useless as goose shit on a hoe handle. Try not to wake anyone at the CIA and tell them the Soviet Union actually broke up. They might have a heart attack.

CIA = Collosal Incompetence Agency.

Street drunks have more of a clue than the CIA.

Oh, there are bunch of us, well, me at least, and perhaps others, who know that what you've added is sickenly true.

The holdovers from the eight years of Clinton are, unfortunately, still holdovers. Pres. Bush's attempt at instituing a new attitude just meant that the Lefties got to stay and do their evil best, at Langley and Foggy Bottom and the Pentagon and ......on and on it goes.

It is my fervent hope that with Pres. Bush getting a clear mandate on Tuesday, he will scrap this "let's all get along" and roll up his sleeves and say, "We're doing it MY way".

If he doesn't, he is going to subject himself to more of the skullduggery that these crafty Lefties are capable of, and they will continue to undermine the confidence that America has in their CinC.

“Oh, no, we do our best NOT to change policy just because an administration changes.”

I would suggest watching the BBC show Yes Minister and Yes Prime Minister. As well as being Maggie Thatchers favorite shows, they illustrate very well how the bureaucracy interacts with the elected Government. One of the key themes, is that the bureaucracy NEVER changes.

The bureaucracy forces conservative Presidents to appear liberal and liberal ones to appear conservative.

This is more than just entrenched bureaucracy. This is a definitive liberal/socialist agenda. Our public policy educational programs are infiltrated with leftists. They turn out class after class of their clones who go into the diplomatic corp.
