60 Minutes just started on the East Coast. Is there any sign of SeeBS's last attempt at an October Surprise?
He is very vindictive. to be complicit in this late hit is just unforgivable. And to repeat Kerry's talking point about cutting taxes in wartime is just grotesque.
The problem doesn't stem from a lack of money, it stems from misuse of the money. That is clear.
This Country is going down the tubes. If Bush pulls this thing out, I'll be shocked.
SEMPER FI from the sister of a VietNam Marine!
Yeah, I'm sure they don't want people to conclude that this is Bush's fault. Not 60 Minutes. Lord knows they are right down the middle. No bias at Black Rock. Puhleeze!!
Sorry pats fan....Colts' fan here and I still haven't gotten over our loss to you in the playoffs last year. So, sorry if I got just a tiny bit of enjoyment out of your first loss in like 12 years. :)
Good questions, time for research oriented pajamahadeens to limber up their fingers!
They migrated north from San Francisco in the mid 1970's and attempted to blend in with real people, liberalism, politics, and really good acid attract them.
They are also found in Washington State, Northern CA, New York City and Hollywood.
Most short-in-stature love the limelight, publicity, and power over others. McCain is no different.
I think he had to sit on two parachutes to see out of the cockpit. That might explain why he trashed 5 fighter jets.
Of course good ol' McCain is on 60 minutes blasting tax cuts during war times. Isn't he supposed to be stumping for Bush? Why does this RINO keep getting sent back to Washington?
I wish Bush had hired some Freepers to handle his campaign instead of this current lot.. They stink. If he does pull off a 2nd term, maybe he can appoint some High court Justices, enact some serious voter fraud reform, and purge the MSM of political Democrat activists. Just dreaming.
I've reprogrammed my remote to eliminate both CBS stations. I only go there when the Ravens are playing.
I'm told that they were going to go with a hit piece about President Bush sending troops to Iraq with inadequate equipment.
Not worth watching. And many, many folks are taking their kids around Trick or Treating, and aren't watching either.
I might just send another FAX to Andrew Heyward, the President of CBS, to tell him to shove it anyway.
We are dealing with really shameless Leftwing hacks. Man, it creates such a powerless feeling. I already voted, that's all I can do. Tomorrow, I'll go to a phone bank and make calls.
I just hope we take this thing. If we don't, I'll never get over it.
Just wondering, does anybody know how she voted on the Supplemental?
Yeah, but Oregon is only narely a Kerry state. I'm sure it was no accident that Moore and Viacom both went to Oregon to make trouble for Bush.
Faith, please don't take this the wrong way but every post I read of yours lately is pessimistic.
Moot point. They could have easily gone out of their way to blame this administration but they did not. I am not a fan of 60 Minutes, but keep things in perspective.
You really don't get it. This was a late hit. This is anti-Bush-- that was the intent. This is designed to hurt Bush, face it.
My father-in-law in the Navy was in the water for hours after his ship sank and their life jackets were worthless, rat eaten rags.
One of the reasons that we were so low on weapons is that we had promised England half of our weapons production because they were worse off than we were.
Did CBS mention that the humvee was adopted by the military during the late 1980s, as a replacement for the WWII era jeep, and the main light utility vehicle of the military, and that its use as something of an armored vehicle in Iraq is a battlefield adaptation?
Such things happen all the time. If the military knew way back when, what it has since learned, it would have made different decisions.
War almost always reveals the weaknesses in your weapons, tactics, logistical support, intelligence, and so forth. This is NOT a partisan issue.
Kerry made it into a partisan issue by opposing the Supplemental, designed to equip our troops better for the Iraq mission, and then criticizing the President for not doing before the fact what he (Kerry) opposed after the fact.
If Kerry knew that the humvee needed to be armored, he - as a U.S. Senator - had the obligation to do something about it. I cannot believe that any of our people involved in the humvee adoption, from the career military people, to the DoD civilians, to our elected officials, would not have insisted on a fighting vehicle rather than a utility vehicle, if they had anticipated the threat environment in which we are now engaged.
