*Vanity* Moveon.org on our property

Please excuse my first-time post that is also a vanity. I am the principal of a christian school that is also a polling place. Moveon.org has set-up a sign on our property with a representative. When I went over to talk with the gentlement to find out what he was doing, he told me that he was "checking off names" of people who promised to vote so that they would stop calling these people. He set up over 100 feet from the polling place, but it is on our property.

Thank you to all who responded with useful advice. I called the local GOP office and they put me in touch with an voter fraud hotline that was staffed with some lawyers. The advise I got was to ask them, and any political group, to leave our property. We do not want to have any negative press and cause a scene by calling the police. In the end, the moveon.org "precinct commander" agreed to take his sign away and we agreed to have them on our property. Just so you know, they were not approaching any voters. In the few hours that I was watching, only about 4 people came up to be "checked in." After each "check-in" the "commander" would get on his cell phone.

Nobody stood up to the same tactics the Nazi brown shirts in the 30's and look what happened. MoveOn has basically the same ideology (Fascism). I guess you have never really stood up for yourself against these people. I have met many and the only thing that scares them is calling them out on their propaganda. Heck, these guys protesting and getting arrested is a badge of honor for them. They expect you to remain silent while generating photo opts getting "arrested".

What drives them away are counter protest, i.e calling their butts out. We are in a battle, civility has long been a victim. I bet you were all up in arms when people were "bothering" Al Gore when the chanted "Get out of Chaney's house".
