I don't think Laci ever knew about Amber. I think Scott chose the timing, and he knew he was running out of time. I think he knew weeks (months?) ahead that he would be finished by Christmas.
He said that Dec.8 and 9th. And he wrote it on Dec.20 on that fishing license.
The men in Laci's family had suspicions deep in their hearts, but I don't think any of the women (including Laci) ever suspected a thing. They probably were pretty invested in Scott's careful attention and the lies he told them.
Not arguing with you, just solidifying my thinking after hearing the final scenarios as Distaso stated them yesterday.
As for another trial, I'm going to ignore CTV as much as possible for a few months! lol I look forward to speculating on new names/faces in the cabinet for Bush's second term!!!

Conners body was found about a mile away with the imbilical cord still attached to him. He was not still attached to Laci's body.
According to court tv, geragos still objecting strongly to 2nd degree murder charge being an option.......judge says it will stand. Good.
Beth reported that when Distaso entered the court building today, he was greeted by a round of applause! :-)

As for Distaso not mentioning the meringues, the topic had not been mentioned by the time Scott claimed to have left.
This is a small point, but having the blinds closed to me is a clue. Maybe it's a male thing. My husband just doesn't seem to notice the blinds -- he squints or has the lights on. However, I open them the first thing in the morning. I can't imagine being during the day with the blinds closed.

Today I praise Delucchi's decision to bar the cameras. It's bad enough hearing Beth's voice repeating Gergross' bs.
If I had to watch and listen to his actual voice, I'd be throwing things at the television, and then I wouldn't be able to hear Bush' acceptance speech tonight. ;-)
