Tie Dan Rather's earlier Vietnam reporting to a relationship w/Kerry.

No way, He should not even be in the Senate. We need to enforce our own laws on treason and sedition.

Unless Kerry starts making noise if Ohio closes up we ought to take the victory and be happy.

Excuse me, but if he has lied about or forged his military records, he deserves to lose his Senate seat as well. It is my understanding that he lost his Navy security clearance due to his anti-war activities...do you really want someone like that having access to classified documents?

I think a project worthy of the Swift Boat Vets for Truth would be reopening the issue of what happened to our missing POW's and MIA's. It was Kerry who held the disgraceful Senate hearings in 1991 and whitewashed the issue. He belittled and insulted the families, destroyed much of their evidence, and as I recall, called the (the families) idiots. It was John Kerry who sentenced our brave POW's and MIA's to never come home to America with his treasonous actions. That the United States Senate would have had a traitor conduct those hearings is a disgrace, and we still need an honest investigation about what became of them. Their families need to know, and their nation needs to know. The Swift Boat Vets could now finish this job, and finish it RIGHT!

In his concession speech, Kerry gave thanks to his band of brothers who criss crossed the country, "Telling America the truth!"
He is challenging the SwiftVets to, "Bring it on." He is calling them liars..

My checkbook is weak these days but I agree wholeheartedly that Kerry still needs to be taken down, For him to remain a Senator after all that he has done to attack this country is not acceptable.

I am compelled to post this comment I saw on SwiftVets web-page. It sums my thoughts up succinctly and I do hope we ALL learn the answers to this Vet's questions.

FYI. As I pulled the lever for President Bush, I did so very slowly and deliberately. I recalled your statements in front of the Senate committee ... vicious and cruel lies about the armed forces men and women that fought, died and were POW's in the war that continued as you spoke. I was on active duty then and I remember being shunned, spat upon and ridiculed.

I want to know the whole truth about your service that you used in this election in the hope that it would propel you to victory. I want to know if the Democrat Political Machine cleansed your record and protected you so that you could be a puppet for the machine. I want to know if Senator Kennedy placed wording in the Church Act to pardon your specific sins. I want to know if President Carter's amnesty was written for your acts. I want to know if you abandoned your fellow soldiers when you thought they were the objects of an ambush and only returned when you realized that it was safe to do so. I want to know what dangers that you put others in when you abandoned your post to go boom boom in Saigon. I want to know why the MSM refused to investigate these stories. I want to know how many votes against defense systems did you trade for a personal endorsement. I want to know if you got into Boston College Law School for withdrawing from a campaign so that Father Drivian could run instead. I want to know why Harvard Law School did not accept your request for admission. I want to know if you suborned false testimony in Detroit, to later be used in your testimony before the Senate.

This is not all I want to know but it would be a pretty good start.

I think the Swifties' open letter is enough. This should stop now. The horse is dead.

People I know think I am nuts but I have thought after learning of Kerry's treasonous doings that he now deep down knows what he did was wrong and actually wishes he could apologize a la Fonda (though it would be too little too late and since many of those he wronged are dead, he can't really be forgiven), but did not do so because he knew he would not stand a chance at being commander in chief.

I hope that Kerry will make a formal, public apology to those who are still alive, and take his punishment like a man. I think the law would be lenient on him and use him in some way to help current vets.

Maybe I am nuts.

No, but I also don't want to cut off my nose to spite my face. We may be doing damage to ourselves here if we look majorly ungraceful.

This is wonderful news! Standing by and ready if the Swifties need anything. When these guys succeed at getting Kerry's records released, hopefully skerry will be shamed into retiring from public life, permanently.

Unless Kerry starts making noise if Ohio closes up we ought to take the victory and be happy. He has been marginalized.

Remember what happens in the monster movie when the monster gets marginalized and the people don't finish him off?

> ... we ought to take the victory and be happy.
> He has been marginalized.

Disagree.

Apart from the fact that he is still in the Senate, and
positioned and motivated to continue his legacy of doing
nothing (except sell out the US), there is ...

... the not insignificant matter of the total stonewall
by the legacy media in looking into his record. Had they
invested 1% of the effort they spent trying to find some
bad TANG on Bush, they would have discovered major
smoking guns (several right on published Kerry docs).

The legacy media needs to have their face rubbed in the
Kerry Kover-up. And if Kerry loses his re-election in
2006, of even faces a recall in a few months, I have no
problem with that.

Kerry built the core of his campaign on a fraud. That
fraud is not fully exposed.

Those voters duped by his fraud need to learn both about
him, and about the propaganda mills that covered for him.
