It is with profound relief and gratitude to all the volunteers, voters, the Swift Vets for Truth, campaign staff, etc., that I type up today's edition of A Day in the Life of the Re-elected President Bush.
As we now know, Bush received more votes than any previous US president, America saw a record voter turnout, and the US Congress picked up votes to increase the GOP margin in both Houses. Mandate? YES!
Stocks surged Wednesday, with the Dow Jones industrials posting a triple-digit gain moments after the opening bell, as investors expressed relief following the election and victory for President Bush.
Some international reaction: Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi and Russian President Vladimir Putin on Wednesday said an election victory by President Bush would strengthen the United States and benefit their countries.
Enjoy your visit to Sanity Island!!!!! We have successfully defended our beaches and borders, and our Coast Guard is commissioned to maintain its patrols for Four More Years!
good thoughts.. I agree
I am so happy!
Thanks, Dolly...guess oWf is getting a little rest - I certainly hope so.
So very true...good post!
I noticed that all of the commentaters kept saying that Inez was a much more attractive candidate. Thank goodness us Sandlappers know better than to just vote on attractiveness.
Thanks so much for the pics!
Jug- wanted to make sure you see these awesome photos!
VICTORY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
LOL! I had to wait until morning to see it, but YES..........that's the fan! :o)
Mr. Ohio thinks I ought to get to go to the Inauguration, but these two jobs I have sometimes get in the way of such things. :o)
CSpan.org has Daschle's concession speech on their website.
A labor of love, Cow........a labor of love.
Intensity, YES!
Because all of us now KNOW him. We know his strength and courage, and we know his heart and soul.
We also know his opponent, and the danger of losing a GOOD man for one who is decidedly not good.
(And that Columbus rally was INCREDIBLE!!)

I was working intensely all day Tuesday so had the advantage of not hearing the bogus 'exit polls.'
Maybe I've become a conspiracy nut in the past four years, but I have NO doubt that those polls were part of an effort to defeat this President.
BUT.......no amount of evil in the media, among the pollsters, or in the Dem party itself has the power to overcome the will and power of the Almighty God.
What we saw Tuesday reflects what I believe is a spiritual awakening in God's people throughout this land. There is an awareness that if we are complacent, we will lose our beloved nation to the evil forces that are feverishly working to take it over.
That's why I believe we all need to be in prayer RIGHT NOW for the candidate of God's choosing for 2008.
God IS in control!
Yes. I know exactly what you mean. But I was pointing out how overjoyed I was to read that HE KNOWS and saw how WE FEEL about him. I'm so glad that he knows it's not just about politics.
Lol...I hadn't used that fan for so long, it took me a while to find it and dust it off. Still works though! :-)
It was neat to see the old Habitat for Humanity photos last night that gave a lot of us Bush Babes the nerve to say some things we had been holding inside. Those were the days, weren't they?
President Bush has a job to do and will do it. Spending idle time contemplating his legacy is not part of his next term, imho. Men of Honor don't have to PLAN a legacy. Their legacy happens naturally. Shep gets it. We get it. The leftists have no clue.
Too bad they didn't have the smarts of the Amish, who also don't vote, fight, etc. But many Amish voted in this election...for Bush, of course. :o)
We are proud of your state... THANK YOU OHIO!!!
Thanks for posting that, i hadn't seen it. I was there!!! he saw that in MY eyes and 22,999 others!!! the rally was incredible. I was not nervous at all on tuesday, because i KNEW after we walked out of that rally that W had it wrapped up and Ohio was going for him!
