I wanted to post this last night, but now I am more coherent and articulate.
Thank you all for hanging with each other yesterday in the face of bogus exit polls, MSM bias and long faces on the networks.
We were down, but we never were out, because we had each other.
In the face of bogus exit polls, we showed resolve. We took the cue from our President after 9/11 when he said he would never relent, never yield and never tire. We encouraged our fellow Freepers to continue to get out the vote, even when it looked like our vote was not going to break our way.
We showed determination for these past four years in the face of difficult adversity. Our country was attacked and our President was attacked like no other in recent history...yet we persevered.
So, to all I say, thank-you for giving me a forum to come to each day. We may not all agree on everything, but we are a community. I hearby acknowledge this day as Freeper Appreciation Day.
God Bless
New Freeper here, glad i could be of assistance, also big hugs to my fellow South Dakotan Freepers that rid us of Tom Daschle, It was time.
IN HONOR OF BUSH DONATION THREAD:
and truly show your appreciation to Jim and John Robinson by making a contribution in honor of President George W. Bush?

I said it last night--I'll say it again. I love FR, JR, and all you FReepers. I don't know what I would do without talk radio and this forum.
To freerepublic.com....my hat is off. I think I might go to the Reagan library this weekend and say a thank you there too...
God bless Jim Rob, FR & the Pajamahadeen !
I didn't watch any tv coverage yesterday afternoon (and I'm glad I didn't otherwise I would have ended seriously depressed. It was around this time yesterday that the bogus exit poll numbers had been circulating and everyone here was so down. I had seen, too, on crushkerry.com, a posting that they had spoken to House GOP insiders who had told them the Prez was likely to LOSE. I didn't want to depress any more Freepers so I didn't mention this. Fox commentators were already writing the end of the Bush Presidency.
Suddenly, NRO's Kerry Spot and Corner started to have really positive insider info from BC and WH, which was so diametrically opposed to what people had been seeing and hearing. I posted here that it was like looking at two alternate realities. They couldn't be both right. I decided to throw my lot in with NRO insiders and completely ignore the exit polls. I posted the following. Good thing I did what I did, otherwise I would have gone insane. I am deliriously happy that it was the right choice, and it worked out perfectly in the end!! Thank-you God for 4 more years of President George W Bush!!!

I'm drinking the NRO Kerry Spot koolaid with redstate.org. I believe what I want to believe and shut out the rest. I believe in a Bush win with FL and OH secured, and we get all the 2000 states including NH!!!
