Though I've had a strong Catholic upbringing, anyone who knows me knows that I'm not generally an outwardly religious guy. But I think it's more than appropriate if we all take a moment to thank God for watching over us, over our country, and over our world.

I do feel like W's victory was a result of prayer. My church had a 24 hour prayer chain on Monday praying for the election. I think most members of my church had been praying for the last several weeks. I'm sure the same is true of most Christians.

I thank God for giving us such a strong Christian president and I pray that the United States can have a revival in this country that spreads around the world. God knows we need it.
