WOOOOOOO HOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!! Just as my wife and I were leaving for the hospital ( only minutes from when the prayer request went upon FR ) my wife received a call from the ICU. Cathy has partially awakened!!! She responds to voices, breathing mostly on her own - best part - the brain scan shows NO DAMAGE AT ALL! She has contracted an infection, which has yet to be identified. But, truth is ..hospital's are where you go to find all sorts of creepy infections. After all the gloom and doom scenarios from the docs this is great news. Thank you...

Yesterday, Black Elk walked 260 paces with his walker. He's hoping to graduate from the walker to a cane. He's chipper and irate. He's alive in no small part because freepers told him to do his PT! He'll be home soon, and back at the computer. Thank you, freepers. Wife of Black Elk

I finally got a job, delivering and shuttling rent cars around. I haven't worked since April of '09. I hope that while I'm hanging around the "office" I can pick up on some of their operations to maybe advance to a better position. Pays minimum wage, and part time, but hey, I'm WORKING AGAIN! Wish me luck FReepers.

One pro-life organizer said the closing was “an answer to prayer.”The Community Healthcare Center, which was dually licensed as an abortion clinic and as a clinical laboratory, faced a $413,000 fine after the Florida Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA) found its lab license had been expired for 413 days. I JUST WANTED TO THANK YOU ALL WHO OFFERED UP PRAYERS & THOUGHTS FOR MY GRANNY. LAST AFTERNOON AFTER WORK I WENT TO THE HOSPITAL AND WE THOUGHT ALL WAS LOST. SHE COULDN'T TALK, SHE COULDN'T MOVE HER LEGS OR ARMS (INCLUDING HER FINGERS). ALL SHE WOULD DO IS MOVE HER EYES TOWARD YOU WHEN YOU TALKED TO HER. THEN, AFTER GRABBING A BITE TO EAT (ABOUT NINE O'CLOCK), WE WERE SHOCKED TO SEE HER MOVE BOTH HER ARMS & LEGS, TRY TO SPEAK NORE CLEARLY, CLAP HER HANDS, LAUGH, AND MOST SHOCKING, WE ASKED HE IF SHE COULD WRITE...

Former U.S. Border Patrol agents Ignacio Ramos and Jose Compean, who were given long jail terms for shooting at a fleeing drug smuggler, today told Fox News Channel host Glenn Beck that they were sustained by prayers of the American people and their spirits were lifted by their letters. The two were interviewed on Beck's program in their first television interview allowed under the terms of their probation after President Bush commuted their sentences on his last day in office. They just were released from ankle bracelet restrictions and still face limits on with whom they can talk. One of...

Abortion facility to close following 40 Days for Life campaign Shawn Carney (right) of the national 40 Days for Life team, with two Orange County, California campaign leaders, standing next to the real estate sign that was placed outside the abortion facility on Day 39 of the fall 40 Days for Life. The abortion center is going to close its doors and shut down. As you look at that picture, think about what it will feel like when the abortion facility or Planned Parenthood nearest to you posts a similar sign — the day when you realize that due to...

I want send a personal thank you out to the Freeper Nation during my month in the hospital. Thank you for the visits by each member of the DC Chapter that visited me and for the prayer thread here. Well Freepers, I have to be on dialysis for the foreseeable future because my blood pressure ran out of control and the last group of drugs were not effective in controlling it which lead to my Kidneys being damaged. So we now have the bp under control and the kidneys are starting to work yet again, so Trueblackman will be out...

SIOUX FALLS, SD (LifeSiteNews) - On Monday, July 21, eight women arrived at the Planned Parenthood office in Sioux Falls in South Dakota for abortions, but were instead met with locked doors and a hand-written note indicating the only abortion clinic in South Dakota was closed. Planned Parenthood closed its doors after their abortionists, who are flown in from other states, refused to work under the new law that went into effect last Friday. The law orders abortionists to inform patients of the humanity of their babies and that the procedure could affect their mental health two hours before the...

WASHINGTON, DC - "We rejoice with pro-lifers in Rockland County, New York today," said David Bereit, national campaign director of 40 Days for Life, "as they celebrate the closing of an abortion facility that was responsible for ending the lives of untold numbers of innocent unborn children over its many years of operation. The unceasing prayers of these faithful people have been answered." Abortion Services at 200 East Eckerson Road in New City, N.Y., was one of more than 50 clinics across the nation where 40 Days for Life prayer vigils were conducted this spring. "My family and I visited...

Just wanted to update the prayer warriors here who prayed for us a few weeks ago when I underwent a medical procedure to get pregnant. Initial bloodwork indicated a positive for pregnancy, and I had my first ultrasound today. TWINS!!! :*) :*) I just wanted to thank you all for all the prayers and to ask for continued prayers for the remainder of the pregnancy. (If you are one who doesn't believe in IVF, please, no ugly responses. I'm aware of the beliefs against it. Thank you.)

The power of prayer is a wondrous thing to experience firsthand as I did last week, and I want to share it with all of you. Last Monday night before going to bed, I posted here a prayer request for my upcoming surgery (even spelling the title wrong shows how bad I was feeling) The next day, after taking the kids to school and pouring another cuppa coffee, I sat down and signed on. I had almost 50 replies and the post had been viewed over 100 times. As I sat here and read the prayers (and...

I would like to thank the Freepers for their prayer because I just corresponded with Paul Weyrich, and he says he is healing from his amputative surgery very well. He attributes it to everyone's prayers.

Hello all; The date is 22 MAY 05, and I find myself needing to write again. Before I start, I want to say that I am completely overwhelmed with emotions. A brief history if you will bear with me. Approximately 3 weeks ago, I was contacted by my mother regarding a friend of a friend with whom she had been sending my letters for entertainment purposes I am sure…grin Anyway, I received an e-mail from some guy whom I had never met named “Swordmaker” asking me if he could print my letters on an online newspaper. I thought it a...

Dear FRiends, Blessed be the Lord! Sheila (the 34 year old heart transplant recipient who had a heart attack and stroke earlier this week)took a swift turn for the better yesterday! Her blood pressure is beginning to stabalize and she is breathing 85% on her own rather than 45% on her own. Thank you for calling on the Lord in prayer, for He hears and answers. Sheila's doctor said that the improvement seen yesterday is a miracle! Thank you, friends for your steadfast prayers. Praise the Lord. Kate

Thank You, Lord, for the care you gave us during this election, for the chance to do the right thing, for the protection of the way we choose our leaders, for the lack of violence, for the absence of terrorism, for allowing us who believe in truth, integrity, God, the culture of life, and the fact that man is not made to be a tool of the government, but instead is given the right to make governments as his tool to make a better life to once again attempt to make America the city on the hill, a beacon to...

The governments and leaders who exist do so because God wants them there. Clinton was in office because God wanted him there. The United States was receiving a wakeup call during Clinton's administration. If it didn't listen, what horror might have been visited upon this nation? George Bush is President and the Congress restructured a bit because God wants it that way. Not only does God's Word give us specific information about how He wants us to live, we get clues every day in the regular events that take place. For reference check this out: John 19:9 and he (Pilate,...

I would like to just offer up a prayer of thanksgiving to the one true God for his mercy and grace. He has seen fit to afford us another four years with a great president. One with outstanding morals, family dedication and amazing intestinal fortitude. IMHO, he is without a doubt a God fearing, family loving, courageous man. Thank you God, for this wonderful gift, for hearing all our prayers and for giving us another 4 years of guidance from President George W. Bush.

CRANK UP THE PRAYERS! WE'RE SEEING MIRACLES! I'm not sure where to begin. I shared about the dream Norman had about being given a choice of going with the "man" or staying here to live. Last Saturday, they put Norman into Hospicecare. They essentially sent him there to die. I called the children and had them fly in to say their goodbyes. All came running. Saturday, Sunday, and Monday Norman couldn't even open up his eyes. He couldn't talk other than grunt. It looked about as dire as it can get. On Monday nite, we (the family) started giving him...

Wanted to express my sincere gratitude to all of you who prayed for my health. Your prayers were answered! As an update, the excruiating pain in my neck and shoulders is all but gone and I no longer have muscle spasms in my arm. All that remains is the tingling sensation in my finger and thumb which only gets painful when it gets cold and I have yet to regain full strength but at least I can type now and putting on panty-hose is no longer a major construction job!I returned to work full-time this past Monday. I took the...

My dear brothers and sisters in Christ, I am completely in awe of what has transpired since I posted a Prayer Request for my son. It would take too long to detail (I am at work writing this because my home computer is getting fixed), but let me say that the chain of events that occurred since I posted that request 6 days ago is totally mind boggling. Our prayers have been answered in the most unexpected way ! Praise God from Whom all blessings flow ! Thank you all for prayers, and words of advice and comfort. Please know...
