As the enemy stumbles under the weight of incoming, it is the Lord's work. They attacked First, stupidly. How typical. Now we have to destroy them without pity or quarter, and there won't be time to take prisoners as we crush their Citadel of Terror. There aren't going to be any apologies for the chewed-up guts that are the remnants of the ENEMY that once faced us... NEXT!

There is an excellent book you can get that will teach you more than you think you can learn called "Experiencing God" by Blackaby. It has all the names we know of that God is called in scripture. If you read the book and follow what it says , it will change your life. Everybody in my study group experienced a miracle while in the course.

So true. The left thinks they make it all happen. And that, my friend, will be their downfall, every time!

When I first heard those phony exit polls over the car radio, I knew they were (ahem) garbage. But it was still very disturbing. Remembering the effect phony polls had in Florida in 2004, I feared a lot of Republican voters would just give up and not vote.
While still driving, I prayed hard.
"Dear God," I prayed, "Let your will be done. I know You work in mysterious ways, and that it may not be your will that George Bush win this election. But OTOH dear Lord, if it IS your will that he win, then please inspire all good men and women in America to take strength, ignore these polls, and GO VOTE!"
I believe thousands like me were praying the same thing at the same time. And I believe our prayers were answered.

I was never worried at all. There is a righteous might in simply being born American, for the most part. It's not something Peter Jennings, Ted Kennedy, or John F. Kerry would know anything about. GOD LOVES FReepers!

I'm sorry BloodScarlet,
I'm not exactly sure what you are talking about. This is a psalm-prayer not a political statement about Islam, Israel or Palestine.
We are all sinners. Not one of us is without sin no, not one. If I call in prayer for God's righteousness, I have to admit my own unrighteousness and and repent before God. The enemies I refer to here are all our enemies, but in particular those godless enemies who attempted to defeat our president. Please don't read anything more into this than praise and thanksgiving for our God's wonderful deliverance from these evil godless people.
As for wanting them dead, I hate what the Islamics did when they attacked us, but I also hate those who have no problem with a million plus dead babies every year and who take great joy in mocking our Lord. These things I see occurring inside our own country. These acts are committed by our own people. God hates that too, and I am just as upset by those things. I hope that all of these people both inside and outside of our country come to the saving knowledge of our Lord. However, I still want to see those who attack us utterly destroyed.
As I said I'm not sure how you're viewing this as a political statement or why you responded the way you did.
I apologize for disturbing this prayer thread trying to explain any imagined political comments. It was not my intent to turn this into anything other than a prayer of praise and thanksgiving for the blessing the Lord has given us with the re-election of President Bush.

Remember (and I didn't want to post this before the election so as to "demoralize" people): God is in control and He protected the children of Israel from EVERY plague. Psalms says "a thousand shall fall at your side and ten thousand at your right hand but it shall not come nigh thee."

( Blush) I actually learned from other FReepers. When I came here, I didn't even know what a prayer warrior was - FR has informed me on more than politics. :)
