Kerry Laments: 'I Can't Believe I'm Losing to This Idiot'

This is actually my favorite Kerry quote, if he really thinks Bush is an idiot then what does that make Kerry?

Reminds me of Obi-Wan's line in "Star Wars":

"Who's the more foolish? The fool, or the fool who follows it?"

What a potty mouth on Mr Kerry. Parents in the heartland are satisfied with their voting decision.

To quote the 12 year old brat at the DNC, "I think Mr. Kerry should be given a time-out!"

Oh, yeah...59 million American voters just gave him one. Whoopsie...

Kerry's obeisance to Christian-hating Hollywarped weirdos demonstrated that he would strengthen Follywood's destructive chokehold on American culture. Kerry idiotically called foul-mouthed Whoppi Goldberg the "soul of America" and stupidly aligned himself with religious-hating Hollywarped's version of the Ten Commandments.
THE HOLLYWOOD CREED

Christians are evil.

Women are to be valued only for their cleavage.

The traditional family is archaic, constricting, with no redeeming value.

Parents that try to guide their children's choices are restrictive.

Kids need to be "free".

Extreme movie violence and explicit sex for the thrill of it is good because it is profitable.

We firmly believe 24/7 of the sexually salacious and violent TV, movies and music we produce are not harming kids and the culture.

OTOH, we also believe----with the religious fervor of Tammy Faye Baker---- that a single 15-sec commercial will compel tens of millions of Americans into thousands of stores to buy billions of dollars worth of soap, soup, breakfast cereal and cars.

She's talked about her serious work on education, pensions, the arts and the environment. But she's also discussed her prenuptial agreement, her Botox treatments and how she'd "maim" an unfaithful husband. She's said she'd be a "ninny" if she didn't have strong opinions at her age (64, five years older than Kerry).

I think scary terry has ingested too many of those rum soaked raisins. She's a real piece of work!

Kind of tells us all what sort of President, never mind Commander In Chief, he would've made, doesn't it? Can you say micro-managing elitist bastard?

Isn't it great how Evan Thomas decided AFTER the election to tell us what an idiot Kerry is? Lovely. I tried to buy this tonight, but in this small mountain community I live in now it wasn't on the shelves! Darn it!

Saw Evan Thomas on C-Span earlier this evening.

He said that Jim Jordan got bounced after he chewed out Teresa cus' she kept insisting that they let her debate Dean!

Said that Kerry had Shrum can Jordan not because he was wrong, but because of how he spoke to his meal ticket.

All along we said he was an empty suit, with no convictions, no integrity, and this is borne out in Newsweak. Telling McCain he'd expand the role of VP to include defense and God only knows what else....unconstitutional doesn't begin to describe this. Kerry is crazy.

Julia's wrong...TerAYsa's the one who suffered through Kerry's nightmares, etc.. Well, maybe they both did. Kerry had to convince two very rich women why he couldn't possibly do any work. Post traumatic stress syndrome due to the Vietnam War. Sniffle, sniffle. Rice wounds....Kerry's campaign, his entire persona is a cautionary tale waiting to be told in full.

Kerry suffers from the same problem that many of the liberal elite snobbery do. People like Effing and Al Gore develop an overblown opinion of their abilities to engage in social and intellectual domains. Their intellect is generally on par with that of a typical college graduate (both Gore and Kerry were C students) yet they have convinced themselves that they are intellectually superior humans.
As a result, people like Kerry and Gore often reach erroneous conclusions about complex situations and as a result of their miscalculations make stupid mistakes and missteps.
Their real problem is that they lack that metacognative skills to realize it.

Well said.

I find it annoying how the liberals currently think they have a corner on intelligence ("Bush is stupid, and so are his supporters."). The most intelligent people I've met throughout my life were virtually always Republicans (or Libertarians). Conversely, most of the "intelligent" liberals I've met seem to have some sort of disconnect in their logic and critical thinking capacity. They can get only so far in an argument, then their reasoning implodes -- yet they can't think critically enough or objectively enough to realize it. What gets frustrating is: at that point in the argument, you've lost them -- but they don't even realize they're lost. They get caught in some weird, subjective bad-logic loop, yet continue to think they're making sense. And thus, based on the incorrect presupposition that they're still making sense, they arrogantly conclude that they're still winning the argument and therefore: "Republicans are stupid 'cause of on account of that they don't get our brilliance."

Guess what, liberals? WE GET IT. We just wouldn't use the term "brilliance" to describe it.

Not that I'm bitter.

Julia Thorne hates John Kerry. What woman wouldn't hate a man who left her for a richer one?

I know she hates him, she has said so in interviews before he was even running for president. a paraphrased quote: "Being married to John was unbearable torture" or something close to that.

I have a feeling that he will be hit again with Viet Nam when he runs again for the Senate in 2 years.

Great first couple chapters.

It is amazing how clearly WE could see what a mess John Kerry and his campaign was. It is nice to see Newsweek confirm our beliefs AND validate the wisdom of the American electorate.

Thomas says Kerry had to call friends to see what his position on anything should be. Aides had to take his cell phone away from him. The man's an idiot.
