BRUSSELS A mixture of dismay, despair and in one case an unflattering assessment of the IQ of Americans who voted for President Bush dominated European newspapers yesterday. "How can 59,054,087 people be so dumb?" asked British Daily Mirror in a front-page banner headlin

In an editorial titled "The Fundamentalist Majority," the center-left Berliner Zeitung commented: "The re-elected Bush claims he wants to reunite an extremely divided country. "That's exactly what he promised four years ago, but he has done the opposite." It was mostly the Democrats engaging in scorched earth tactics, hysterical demogoguery, and the promulgation of myths and lies way out of proportion with mere politics with the sole purpose of dividing the nation, who should get the credit.

The spirit of Neville Chamberlain is alive, and is animating most of Europe. It's not America's fault that many of the countries in Europe, in their misguided desire to show their "multiculturalism" and "tolerance" (not to mention their anti-Zionist/antisemitism), admitted Muslim immigrant in their tens of thousands from various countries. Now the non-Islamic denizens of those European nations are in mortal terror that Ahmed the schwarma vendor is going to plant a bomb in the local secondary school, or the soccer stadium, or the historic landmark. What's more, this fear is reflected in the halls of Euro governments, who have tolerated a certain "good terrorist" (e.g. Hamas, Hizbollah, al Fatah) presence in their respective countries for years (so long as they kept their "noses clean"). Inevitably the demographics (most of the native-born Euros in the EU practice ZPG birth control, the Muslims breed like rabbits) will catch up with these formerly "Christian" countries, and then their grandchildren will be shouting "Allahu Akbar" from the highest roof tops.

When they're being forced to pray to Mecca 5 times a day and wear burkas, they'll think differently. i am so sick of people complaining about Gitmo (one of the magazines had picture of the inmates) especially since people we released were just caught again. Do they understand that in the terror manual they were instucted to lie and say they were abused? And Gitmo is freer than the rest of the Cuba. Where's all the symapthy for the Cuban people?

Especially when I told them I voted for Bush!

The truth is that these elitist jerks think everyone but them is stupid, yet they still can't figure out why they lost. Assignment of stupidity is at the proximate end of the Mirror's pointing finger.
