Trench Warfare (or how Kerry like drop the F-bomb on his butler)
Newsweek ^ | 11/5/2004 | Newsweek staff

The morning after the Feb. 3 primaries, which vaulted Kerry into a virtual-ly insurmountable lead, the candidate was fuming over his missing hairbrush. He and his aides were riding in a van on the way to a Time magazine cover-photo shoot. Nicholson had left the hairbrush behind. "Sir, I don't have it," he said, after rummaging in the bags. "Marvin, f---!" Kerry said. The press secretary, David Wade, offered his brush. "I'm not using Wade's brush," the long-faced senator pouted. "Marvin, f---, it's my Time photo shoot."

Remember that funny video of John Edwards primping his hair...endlessly...before a tv interview? Now we got Kerry cussing bout his doo. I'm LOL at the contrast of these fussy men, to their wives....who looked like they never even shampooed, much less bothered to comb.

No real dirt here...doesn't everyone tell their butler to "f" off! LOL
Interestingly enough, no mention that Kerry the MA liberal had no chance of winning.
Also no mention the definite impact of the Swiftee ads and their book!

What a creepy creep. Even most DumbocRATs should be pleased the nation doesn't have to suffer through an administration this moron would assemble.

No wonder he gets along with the Heinz brats: they're schmucks too.

They try so hard to make Kerry sound like a victim, a true blue nice guy, but they are just wasting time trying to polish this turd.

After that stunt with the comb, I'd have had them stop the car and left.

Doesn't that guy have any self respect?

Who in the 21st century actually has a butler?

Bruce Wayne?

(I always suspected he was a little light in the loafers. Who else would have a "youthful ward" hanging around their mansion?)

Also no mention the definite impact of the Swiftee ads and their book!

The Newsweek article goes into considerable detail on how the Swiftee ads derailed and destroyed the Kerry campaign. The Kerry campaign had no clue on how to react to the attacks.

Great read BTW...

That's the first thing I thought...Scary, huh? Course, my nieces are 19 months and 2 months old, so...

Larry's face isn't quite as long as Kerry's though.

In the van, Kerry was working his cell phone and heard the beep signaling that the phone was running out of juice. "Marvin, charger," he said without turning around. "Sorry, I don't have it," said Nicholson, who was sitting in the rear of the van. Now Kerry turned around. "I'm running this campaign myself," he said, looking at Nicholson and the other aides. "I get myself breakfast. I get myself hairbrushes. I get myself my cell-phone charger. It's pretty amazing." In silent frustration, Nicholson helplessly punched the car seat.

My goodness. He had to get his own breakfast, hairbrush and cell-phone charger. What has America become when we have to get our own hairbrushes?

I don't know what "Newsweek article" you are referring to, but I don't see any mention of the Swiftees at all in this one. Of course if my eyes get any worse they're just going to give me a German Shepard. LOL But I would appreciate it if you would kindly reference where the Swiftees were mentioned in this piece.
