You said in the AP article (Nov 5, 11:09 PM (ET) By TOM RAUM) that “We have lost just about everything that we can lose."
Nope, you still have your seat, and until you and politicians LIKE you are out of power, the Dem’s and the party will have no hope at all.
You see, when it comes right down to it, Americans have a real problem with having anything shoved down their throats. That is what you and your party do. You shove your ideology down our throats.
You try to tell us things are so bad. They are not.
That too many are dying in Iraq. Did you forget what burying your head in the sand about REAL evil does? That mistake cost millions of lives in WWII, The Middle East is no different. If we wait, many many more will die, and a lot of them will be here in the good old USA. Do you honestly think that WE don’t get that? We do! And WE are willing to make the smaller sacrifice NOW rather than the unimaginable one later! You Liberals forget that!
You forget that Freedom ain’t free! We have not!
If you are ever going to have a hope of regaining power, you are GOING to have to pony up the the reality table and tell it like it is, not how you want people to SEE it. We are a lot smarter than that now! We don’t just buy CBS and NBC’s take on it anymore!
You try to tell us that the Economy is so bad, oops, it’s not. It is good and getting better.
You say the President ruined the economy and cost us Jobs. Any idiot can see that 9-11 cost us jobs, the Dem’s hid a slowing economy in 2000 that happened on Billy’s watch. We aren’t stupid my dear, lying about it only makes you look like a liar! You are fools if you think we can’t see that!
You see, most of us here in reality land, don’t like those in positions of power lying to us, and that is the overall picture you have painted. Either reality is different for you than it is for the average person, or you are lying your asses off! Don’t think we don’t get that too!
Now, before I get off my soapbox, one last thing.
You lost so much in the elections for what is really a very simple reason. After 9-11, about 6 months or so, you and your party made the deliberate decision to attempt to divide America. You had to. “Divide and Conquer” right? That was your biggest mistake. We are a NATION. We were attacked in a way that has not happened in three generations. This country was United in a way this 35 year old has NEVER seen, either in this country or in any other. You set out to split that unity, and to a great extent you did just that. There are great number of us that are going to remember that act of treason! We will NOT forget what you did Nancy. If you EVER want to get past the perception that most of this country CLEARLY holds now, you had better start acting in America’s BEST interest! Not attempting to divide her in order to distinguish yourself from your perceived Enemy. The Enemy is Islamic Terrorists. You and your party failed to recognize and DEAL with the threat when it was pathetically easy to do so. So here we are today! With YOU trying to tell us it is the fault of the guy that owns the White House for the next 4 years! Well, you might have noticed that We The People didn’t buy that load of poo. Work as uniters and you might have a prayer.
All this said, I do not like you, your politics or your beliefs. I look forward to the day you are voted out of office just like good old Tommy! However it is in the best interests of this country that you and your party pull your heads out and get a real clue about what is going on. You lost because we don’t believe in you. You have given us nothing to believe in!
