More blather from the other clown party.
Ping me when they actually elect some candidates at the state level. What percentage of the national vote did they get?
His not supporting the WOT and his isolationism is simply idiotic and NOBODY with those views will ever get elected
Don't worry, Michael, you can have your minions back as soon as they're done creating a bloodfest among the Republican Senate majority.
*YAWN*
I respect the principles of the Constitution Party. But they are wasting their time if they ever want power to bring change in our political system. Our political does not, and never will, support three viable political parties equal in importance and policy-making power.
I'm not trying to be disrespectful here. I understand what drives people to make this decision. I've wondered about it a few times myself.
But I only have one life to live, and I want to spend it making a difference. That's why (for now) I hang my hat in the Republican Party.
Having said that, yes, Peroutka makes some excellent points. His stand on the WOT is very wrong. But he makes good points from time to time.
Uh, isn't the election over?
"But there is much wisdom in what he has to say."
I agree, much wisdom in what he said and I agreed with most of it.
I'm a tad disappointed, though, that he didn't mention immigration. Had been to the Party's official web site about a year ago and remember reading immigration and cultural erosion as two of their main issues. But, not an iota was spoken on immigration in this acceptance speech.
Nonetheless, I wish Michael Peroutka all the best. He's a good man.
WHO IS THIS IDIOT?
Give Peroutka credit, he broke the 100,000 vote barrier. Something Howard Phillips couldn't do in 2000, even while on 4 less ballots.
Hmm, just a thought perhaps, but anyone care to wager whether the effort put forth on the Constitution Party's pointless presidential run could have instead been used to turn the Toomey/Specter primary?
MAJOR LEAGUE ASS WHOOPING
he received on November 2nd.
Yes. There are some good words here. Problem is, we have
to live in the real world where terrorists are very real
and they have declared war on us. They are in more than
just one country (not conveniently located in Terrorland
where we can declare the War on Terrorland), so the U.S.
has had to go after them where they are. When a ubiquitous
power such as radical Islam wishes either to have whole nations convert to their idea of "God" or die, Mr. Peroutka would have a hard time enforcing his idea of God if he is not willing to, as President, send the U.S. military to fight those who attack us. Other than that, these ideals are lofty sounding and would be good, but having said "other
than that", the "other than that" qualifier is everything,
because if a President is not willing to send troops for
much of anything, nothing much else would matter. The
"nation" becomes a moot point eventually anyway. A person
saying they're going to do something is a long way from
actually doing it.
Fine speech. He sounds like a good guy. Why doesn't he get involved in electoral politics? I'm sure his state legislature would be a plausible place to start. Maybe county commissioner.
Heck, in a few years he could get a shot at Congress! That would actually be interesting. Of course, he'd have to run as a Republican to be elected to anything at all, but it works for Ron Paul, so gofer it Michael!
Losertarian poop
Actually, those are the best parts. But then, I voted for Badnarik.
Don't post old, meaningless stuff as news. This is worthless garbage.
