Let me guess. Kerry, for reasons of personal vanity, would have preferred to keep the hearing problem(?) concealed indefinitely, thus creating a long stream of verbal understandings while in office.
Kerry is disqualified from high office for being incapable of telling the truth in a timely manner.

On the afternoon of Aug. 9, John F. Kerry stood on the lip of the Grand Canyon, about to make one of the biggest mistakes of his three-year quest for the presidency. A stiff wind was blowing across the canyon, and Kerry, whose hearing was damaged by gun blasts in Vietnam, had trouble understanding some of the questions being thrown his way. But he pressed on, coughing from the pollen blowing on the breeze.
Sulfur Dioxide.... Maybe.
POLLEN??? Not in August! The hottest month of the year when NOTHING flowers.

Kerry, whose hearing was damaged by gun blasts in Vietnam...
Oh shi'-ite, I see another Purple Heart request coming.
Seriously, if this is even true, that would mean he's receiving some sort of gubmint Disability Payment each month. After all, a guy who groveled after PH's for scratches is NOT going to let a military related injury go without getting his 'just' compensation.
So my questions are ....
- Is this money being disclosed as required by law??
- If his hearing was damaged by "gun blasts" (ha-ha-ha) he would have been given a Medical Profile - PROHIBTING him from being anywhere NEAR live fire - period. And that would have gotten him out of Nam ASAP, but THAT has never been mentioned, WHY????
- Is it possible that sKerry is afraid to let the public know that as he's married to a Billionaire, he's low enough to accept a monthly gubmint disability check for $82.59! (or some such pittance for his "partial disability")
So c'mon John you have nothing to loose now, RELEASE your records and sign that SF180. Oh and pleeeeeeease, tell 'us' MORE about all your "war injuries".
[An aside; two days ago I received very bad news about one of my best friends who was 'In Country' and came close to 'buying it' in '67 and I'm kind of 'bummed out' at the present. So this scum bag phony war hero Kerry is really, REALLY, pi$$ing me off now]

.. I SEE ... so Kerry had a "
POOFY SHIRT" incident where his time in VIETNAM, ( did you know he was in Vietnam? ) A stiff wind, and Pollen all contributed to his unfortunate answer to a reporter's question. ... so THATS why the American people voted for BUSH
... I think that the truth is more likely the Nine hundred and Ninety Nine OTHER 'flip flops' that did him in, and one incident at the grand canyon is wishful thinking by the Boston Globe.

"Kerry, whose hearing was damaged by gun blasts in Vietnam, had trouble understanding some of the questions being thrown his way."
Please. He was in-country for what, 120 days, during which he may - or may not - have fired his weapon or had weapons fired in close proximity to him. There is real question as to whether or not he was actually in combat. Enough is enough - the Vietnam "hero" myth has been completely debunked and yet rags like the Boston Globe continue to perpetuate it. Give it up.

How sickening is this? Soldiers are dying, soldiers are suffering life altering injuries and The Boston Globe reporters are still shilling for Kerry by pushing his "heroic" Viet Nam duty. Do you really think those reporters believe Kerry misunderstood the question because (
"A stiff wind was blowing across the canyon, and Kerry, whose hearing was damaged by gun blasts in Vietnam" )
The Kerry friendly media has dramatically written volumes about him shedding blood for his country, still carrying around schrapnel, and now deafness too.
