it was standing policy during WWII in the South Pacific to bayonet all of the bodies when securing an area...for the very same reasons. ZERO historical memory out there!

I noticed it, too, though I thought it was just the camera jumping. I watched it again when I saw your post and I think you're right. I just don't know what raw, unedited footage should look like to know what it indicates.

LOL!
Seriously, I watched it and okay, I heard a shot and then saw what looked like an already dead body move at impact.
But I could not see the details necessary to make a judgement, therefore, until the facts prove otherwise, my loyalty is without question to the Marine.

But the video clip that is playing today
Are you talking about a clip playing on television? I haven't seen any of the news coverage on the networks and have only seen this same video as is linked to here.

How did the jihadis get an uncut copy of the video? It was not broadcast on NBC. Did the NBC or their embedded report make it available to them?

What's the deal with the author and name of this video? It's an Islamist bulletin board.
Think of it as Osama's version fo Free Republic.

Al Jiz maybe intercepted the uplink feed. Or some other sympathetic newsroom dirtbag leaked it. Who knows.

GEN Abizaid was on Fox at noontime (MST) speaking about this.
From what he said, this is going to be justified and the Marine will survive.
I just wish there was something the CENTCOM commander could do to Kevin Sites...maybe, kick his commie butt out of theater.

I agree. If there is evidence the MSM has doctored this
tape, it would just be over the top (as if Rathergate
wasn't already).

In WW II, and especially in the South Pacific, we didn't have a wimp with a camcorder and a kangaroo court following our troops from island to island making sure every enemy death was a righteous kill. It weas a war zone, and we fought savagery with savagery. It wasn't bean bag, people. The Japs fought dirty and we returned the favor. These vermin are no better, and they aren't in uniform. NBC better get their goody two-shoes cameraman out of Iraq, he's living on borrowed time.

Marines of the First Division take a break to gather for a so-called family picture in Fallujah, Iraq, Tuesday, Nov. 16, 2004.
Don't mess with the Marines!
To: HiJinx
Im conflicted on Kevin Sites. His NBC reports have been horribly biased. The independent posts on his own blog site are very balanced and portray our troops in a positive light.
Perhaps the problem is not Kevin, but NBC.

Sites shot the video, he's the problem. He's got no sense, no judgement, and no loyalty to the people who are keeping him alive.
