UC Berkeley prof proves Bush stole election!!!
University of California at Berkeley ^ | 11/18/2004 | Michael Hout

Posted on 11/18/2004 1:17:42 PM PST by ArcLight

Summary:

- Irregularities associated with electronic voting machines may have awarded 130,000 excess votes or more to President George W. Bush in Florida.

- Compared to counties with paper ballots, counties with electronic voting machines were significantly more likely to show increases in support for President Bush between 2000 and 2004. This effect cannot be explained by differences between counties in income, number of voters, change in voter turnout, or size of Hispanic/Latino population.

- In Broward County alone, President Bush appears to have received approximately 72,000 excess votes.

- We can be 99.9% sure that these effects are not attributable to chance.

This isn't the first time lefties have made this charge. They made the same charge when Chambliss won the Georgia senate race in 2002. Some urban districts that had gone to electronic machines had a higher than expected vote for the GOP.

Here's an example...

They did that with the exit polls and we all know that they did a bang-up job of that

i wonder if there ever will be an investigation on this one? the company that does these things has a reputation at stake. they for one should be leading the charge to figure out what went wrong.

I really hop ethat they keep pushing these theories. They didn't lose because their candidates are North East Leberal Elite snobs that can not connect with the average person. They didn't lose because they are aligning themselves with kooks and anti-american freaks. They lost because W rigged the electronic voting machines in Florida!!!

So what this Berkeley dude was saying was "Hey! You know, Kerry's lame and couldn't win on his own, so we'll just say Bush is bogus and the whole election thing was bogus too." Yeah?

Easy to explain. The Dems can't use their stolen punch card voting machines to double punch GOP ballots thus spoiling them. It would be interesting to find out the spoiled ballot rate for 200 and 2004.

"They cheat all the time..."

And IMO this is the main reason loosing politically enrages them so. To loose a fair fight on a level playing field having made an honest effort is no cause for anger or shame.

But to loose when the fix is in is unbearable to the cheater.

Berserkley once again making the term higher education an oxymoron.

No, they're not. If you think you can get an education there (in something other than liberal fascism), you must be high. Got it?

I think it's time we started comparing FReeper IQs to DUmmies.

Having visited the other side, it won't even be close.

What it shows is that, depsite some misgivings, including my own, about electronic voting machines, they are much less susceptible to vote fraud than paper ballots, which can be bulk-punched thereby producing the infamous "hanging chads."

Bush won bigger where fraud was less.

Well since there were only two choices for a Florida county (touch screen or optical scanners) all punch card spoiled ballots were eliminated.

Most counties that already had optical scanners chose to keep them, counties with punchcards could go to the touchscreens or optical scanners.

You can't spoil a ballot on a touchscreen, they alert you a zillion times if you've undervoted (I know, I chose to not vote on a race in our county elections), and it's impossible to overvote.

Optical scanning machines, during the 2000 recount proved to be the most reliable in the state in duplicating the same numbers during a recount.

How can these intellectuals be so stupid?????

I think George Orwell said it best:
"You must be an intellectual. Only an intellectual could say something so stupid."
