Why can't any of these guys just cut to the chase and shoot themselves FIRST!

Prioritize people.

I have often wanted to go on shooting rampages in Radio Shack stores. You guys on the left coast are lucky to have Fry's, a good alternative.

I caught two thieves who were ripping me off when I ran a Radio Shack out in San Francisco back around 1980. The woman was trying to distract me (no, not that way) while the guy was pulling a car stereo out of it's box and shoving it into a bag (this was an old, BIG store). I saw him, walked over and grabbed the bag out of his hand.

As I walked over to the counter to call the cops he kept tring to reach into the bag. I kept knocking his hand away. When I got to the counter the two of them ran out the door, laughing (I was alone and couldn't really stop them).

When the cops came we looked into the bag and discovered what he must have been reaching for: a 12" long kitchen knife.

I took the rest of the day off.

You really have to watch out for these "mental issues" guys (and I think they are almost always men).

Just recently on a multi-state trip I stopped off at a gas station in a small town. After gassing up my car I parked it and walked back to pay the bill. On the way there I came across this man standing behind a pick-up truck who angrily told me, "Go that way!" and gestured to the direction I was going anyway.

I looked into the eyes and saw unbelievable anger and wildness.

I checked with the lady at the cash register and she said, "Yeah, everybody walks gingerly around him as he can fly off at the least provocation."

You gotta be careful.

He had two or three prior arrests but the victim of the assaults didn't press charges. So, he was out on the streets. He had a twin sister who was very apologetic to the victims' families but of course, that won't bring them back. One guy is still in the hospital who worked at Radio Shack. I used to live right there and mom would go to Publix and I would often go into that Radio Shack to buy stuff. We moved out of St. Petersburg when it looked like downtown was getting closer to us.

Yes, the guy had a history but it wasn't taken seriously. Our law enforcement would rather hand out parking tickets than watch habitual criminals. Remember Carlie Brucia of Sarasota? Kidnapped and killed by a habitual criminal.

Florida's law enforcement is the BARNEY FIFE VARIETY, especially PINELLAS COUNTY.

The killer looked like Mark Hacking of Utah who shot his wife. Very close resemblance. His sister looks like a NOW member. Cropped hair, no makeup - very plain. She was interviewed by www.baynews9.com (exclusive interview with them).

Have to wonder if this is one of those "gun free", criminal empowerment zone malls.

"A 3.5mm stereo to 1/4" stereo adapter? Sure, here's one"

"No, that's not the right one. Neither of those ends is a 3.5mm stereo."

Hmmmm, I know we have one around here someplace."

"Arrrrrgggggg."

the shooter had a two outbursts of "road rage" -- aggressive and violent, not just flipping someone off -- prior to heading off the the nearest Radio Shack for target practice.

my thought on learning this was that, were there more people who valued their second ammendment rights (you know, who were taught to value it as a right and an obligation for able bodied citizens to bear arms) then perhaps the people whose cars he wailed on might have stopped him, or at least put the fear of God in him, before he killed two innocent people and put another in critical condition.

If, that is, people weren't taught that government run domestic law enforcement is their daddy.

I've fumed about Pinellas Co law enforcement extensively, and the court system to a lesser extent. I'm an honest, professional white male -- never been a trouble maker -- and I've had enough experiences with the "system" to fill a book. Pinellas is hopelessly corrupt, the sherrif's deputies indulge in too many steroids, watch too much "crime scene" and court tv. Juges and lawyers are so in bed with each other it's plainly obvious.

Taken together, they're dangerous, overzealous, and unstable.

The shooter was a student at USF = jihad U of sammi alarian(?) and betty castor (D beat in run for FL Senate in Nov.). My guess he was upset about his islam brothers getting killed and betty's election loss.
