John Loftus, former Justice Dept. prosecutor just interviewed on Fox. Loftus reports that what set Powell off yesterday were 1,000 pages of Iranian documents and photos from CIA showing Iran has recieved N. Koran nuclear weapon and is fitting it to a missile based upon other technology from N. Korea. Loftus urges US Navy blockade of Iran to make them stop their nuclear program, which he reports is located under an upper-class Iranian suburb to prevent any strikes from the US or Israel.
Oy.

This would be a perfect opportunity to test out MOAB.
I have no problem blowing up their upper class suburb if it becomes the only way to protect us. I'd rather see it done a different way, but if it comes down to that, then we will have to do it. Get on your camel and ride.
Maybe Powell can be a courageous leader for the remainder of his term and help put the thumbscrews on the pussies that call themselves mullahs.

Why isn't there already a blockade? I thought we had ships in the area around N. Korea.
This is why the US is developing deep penetrator munitions, which can penetrate to these facilities and destroy them without doing all that much damage to the surface.
But if Colon really has documentation that Iran has N.Korean nukes then this needs to be made public before the silly Europeans agree to go forward with this stupid plan to provide nuclear material for "power generation" to a country that has all the oil it could ever use.

Ah, yes, Loftus bloviating as usual.
As one "expert" on Fox said last week. Israel does not have the ability to hit Iran with its IDF Air Force. They do not have the logistics. The only way they "possibly" could is to fly over Iraqi airspace (which we own) but would NEVER allow Israel to penetrate that space.

"Not supported by this story but asserted by Loftus (who says he likes John Kerry and will vote for him) is that the WMD information will come out in this trial, and it will leave the Kerry campaign no place to go."
Also Loftus said that Saadam's wmd program had been shipped to Libya and in October, Ghadaffi would spill the beans to the world thus vindicating Bush, and endearing himself to the Bush administration.

Where Loftus gets most of his Intel from
Using the logic currently in vogue, the USA is entirely justified in giving Iran an ultimatum with respect to its nuclear weapons. We are now @ war with Iraq over the questions of WMD. Iran is one of the worst terrorist nations on earth. It's time to hold them to account while we have the army there to do it. I don't see any alternative. These terrorists are like serial killers. They just keep right on going until someone stops them-by force, and they're just as crazy and even more dangerous. Let's make a clean sweep, a coup de grace...The cancer of terrorism is growing, metastasizing. We must stop it. As for this war, it really is a crusade, and one of the greatest in history. It must be won because the alternative is too terrible to contemplate. The world would be plunged into a new dark age or horrors at least as bad as those that the Nazis, Japanese, and Communists proposed in times past. Down with the Iranian mullahs!
MOAB wouldn't do it. We need to use bunker-buster nukes.
