Well, not to rain on anyone's parade, but Sharon did ask the French Jews to 'come home' not too long ago due to Jewish persecution. Perhaps he knew more than we (they) did! Prescient? Hmmm.......... Sharon is correct. Jews living in neo-Vichy France must seriously consider leaving for Israel, or a safer location, before the situation becomes too dangerous triggered by the invasion of Muslims many of which adhere to jihadic thinking and actions.

Fanatical Islamists have very long memories. In terms of France we must recall there was Muslim invasion of France (Western Gaul-Frankish Empire) all the way to Loire rivière. In the year In 732 Abd-er-Rahman, Governor of Islamic Spain (al-Andalus), crossed the Pyrenees at the head of an immense army, overcame Duke Eudes, and advanced as far as the Loire, pillaging and burning as he went. In October, 732, Charles Martel's Frankish army met Abd-er-Rahman outside of Tours and defeated and slew him in a battle (the Battle of Poitiers) which must ever remain one of the great events in the history of the world, as upon its issue depended whether Christian Civilization should continue or Islam prevail throughout Europe.

Also dopn't forget the battle for Vienna in 1683. The Austrians and Germans werfe losing and Islam was about to win. They would have grabbed all of Europe. The Pope had set up a defense pact with the King of Poland, Jan Sobieski. The Polish calvary or Hussars were a formidable foe. The poor but incredibly brave Polish cavalry would be slaughtered a few centuries later by the mechanized Nazis.

Anyway, Vienna was with a day or so of falling. The Poles came crashing through the Muslims lines on 9-12-1683 (note one day after 9-11). The Germans and Austrians also counter attacked against the Jihadists.

The Muslims were smashed that day and would not make another attempt to take over Europe for a while.

How the Europeans have forgotten 1400 years of Islamic terror, conquest and murder is beyond me. The Dutch are at a fork in the road - submit or fight.
