Peterson May Join 'The Qs' Infamous Death Row
SAN QUENTIN -- If Scott Peterson is condemned to die he would become the latest addition to a San Quentin Death Row that already houses serial killer Richard Ramirez, known as the Night Stalker, Richard Allen Davis, the killer of Polly Klaas, David Carpenter, the Trailside Killer, and recently arrived Cary Stayner.
Ironically, Peterson could also catch an occasional glimpse across the San Francisco Bay waters of the spot where he launched his boat on Christmas Eve 2002, not far from where the bodies of his pregnant wife and unborn child eventually floated to shore.
Now convicted of their murders, Peterson will be transported to San Quentin if the jury recommends a death sentence following a hearing that begins Monday.
I used to say they were gonna give him death, but now that i think about it, with an average 15 year wait on death row, i think they'll give him life to take away another chance at appeal.
Actually Peterson will be sent to San Quentin no matter what. All convicted Felons go to SQ first and then are either assigned there or sent to one of the other prisons in California.
Five story cell block, 100 cells each, 2 men to a cell. Always full, 1000 men. I used to go there and pass out cigarette rolling papers to the detainees there.
Of course Peterson won't go to that reception center, he will be in PC.

Interesting how these stories run the gamut describing Conner -- from "their unborn son" to "her fetus" -- and with even more distance, "the fetus she was carrying."
Seems to me that once they know the sex and even the name of the child, they should stop treating him as an 'it.'
Well he's the SAME ilk OP!! I'm not so sure this guy won't get the Death Penalty. However, if he get's LWOP it may turn into a death penalty anyway. Somebody in the general population probably can't wait to knock him off. In fact, it would save CA a lot of money.
Is that ever pathetic Cheri!! I heard one really experienced Prosecutor on Nancy Grace this afternoon describe why executions in CA take so long. He said "in a word, the 9th circut court of appeals, they are judicial terrorists and should be in Guantanomo Bay" !! I thought WOW, WHY don't Californians get rid of this bunch? They cost each and every tax payer mega tax dollars. Disgusting imo. They are obviously hard core bleeding heart liberals with absolutely NO controlling body over them. It ought to be changed. They effectively nullify the Juries sentence.

YUP!! Gasbag is gonna appeal which will go nowhere. Why not waste some more money? And do you remember this idiot saying in Court, "There isn't going to be a Penalty Phase"!! The guy is NOT ready and now CA citizens get to pay some more. I hope this has knocked some of the air out of with windbag's balloon. He completely demolished the Defense case all by himself.

Lets not forget, if it wasn't for 3strikes, gads, maybe there would be more criminals causing havoc, and more to go on death row at taxpayer's expense, increasing the spenditures.....
well, I think her testimony played a vauable visual for the jurors, without it, I still think the DA would of put a good case, but in different style. More conclusive, and that is the way it probably should of been.
but he could of over lent his portion to his parents therefore, he has no more interest pending property appraisal to the remainder! Or as Sharon Rocha's attorney stated, scotty lost... and he most likely did it unethical, but not sure..... Probate can get very ugly!!!!
