Kinda hoping they get their way and recount and find Kerry won. Be nice to bring on the civil war now while my kids are young.
He's good at this.
Is Olbermann upset?
He wants only a recount over Demoncrap votes figuring that all the cheating taken by the Demoncrap voters cheated him out of second place.
This is great news!!!!! Badnarik and Cobb can shove it. At least Nader can exploit the cheating by the Democrats in this election.
Badnarik and Cobb.
Of course, SKerry won PA by a closer margin and we all know the fraud in that state.
Let Mrs Ketchup pay for it.
I'm sure you're not the only one who thinks that, but I don't believe that Kerry is behind it at all.
Its such a silly effort that it would damage Kerry's reputation among even the vast majority of democrats who do have the realization that they didn't get as many votes this time.
But he can't totally denounce them either, as these wacky democrats are the manpower of their party, so Kerry will have to humour them for a while on this.
You're not the only one. Especially as he has changed his rhetoric since his "concession" speech. At the risk of being the ultimate flip-flopper I believe he would do it.
He has alluded more than once to the final vote count or when all the votes are counted, etc. I don't think there is any doubt that he is looking for an "opening" in Ohio.
Well, he's living in dreamworld if he's entertaining such flights of fancy.
Al Gore couldn't do it when:
1. He had the genuine affection from a large segment of the democrat party due to his being veep to their highly beloved Bill Clinton. Kerry has no such reservoirs of sentiment from his party.
2. Al Gore won the popular vote--that gave him a psychological advantage in the public's mind. Kerry lost the popular vote, not by just 0.5%, but by millions.
3. Al Gore was the quasi-incumbent, that gave him an "edge." Kerry can in no way, shape or form be thought of as an incumbent, whereas W is.
4. Al Gore was behind in FL only by an excruciatingly razor-thin margin. Kerry is behind W in OH by over 130,000+ votes. If Gore couldn't erase such a tiny lead, how's Kerry gonna erase W's much, much larger one?
5. OH is an "improvement" over FL because we have the gop in charge of all levers of government there--we can count on them playing it straight and not worry abot dem shenanigans like the FL supreme court pulled. OH has a gop governor, senators, Secretary of State, both legislative houses, state supreme court, and a truly bipartisan Board of Elections. Kerry will find few, if any, "friends" that could allow him to win.
And I would also add--If Kerry is attempting to hijack the state, he BETTER WIN (which, given the points I've listed above, is impossible) because if he doesn't, he'll be radioactive in the dem party. They won't want any part not only of a loser, but a sore loser--and a very public one at that.
The election will not be over until every Democrat is absolutely convinced Bush won.
Ok so never then ?? LOL
Great! Whoever this judge is I appaud him. These RATS dont want a real recount. They will get a differant total every time. What they want is to have just RATS doing the counting behind closed doors [remember Florida] and slowly erode Bush's lead by throwing out his votes and keeping or sticking in fraudelant ones for Kerry.Even if its after the votes are certified they desparatly want Bush to look illigitamate. they feel its their only hope to destroy his presidency. Its about hatred!
If you're right, and this judge IS a Clinton appointment, then it's not odd at all.
The only reasons that they pressed for all the provisional ballots in the first place was so that they would have a "source" for additional votes they might need and so they could accuse the GOP of "not counting every vote".
On camera, no less. And not a damn thing was ever done about it.
Yes, and also they are about setting precedent
