I think it's clear that Nader won the election. (sarc)
Hopefully, Ohio will change their recount accessibility laws to prevent such frivolous actions in the future...
We seem to be seeing a lot of "sane judge" stories lately. It's about time!

I hope someone shows a video of David Cobb when he is told his campaign is a "hobbyhorse". He can go from zero to postal in two seconds.
Am I the only one who thinks that Kerry is behind the Green/Libertarian recount effort in Ohio?
Good! Glad to hear it..
Still about twice the time that Dean [and Lawrence O'Donnell] can do it in.
I agree.
I think that a recount should definitely be in the works IF the race were close.
However, it's not close and no amount of tin-hat, black helicopters paranoia from the whacko left and whacko right will change those numbers.
This whole recount effort is someone's political hobby horse and they should have to pay for it too!
All of it!
No.
Yes, but precenent is still important.
the current exercises in overcoming law are about setting favorable precenent
Dems are fixated on this provisional ballot concept. They need recounts to understand, going forward, how to cheat more effectively using provisional to stuff ballot boxes. Maximize cheating, while reducing risk of indictment for votor fraud. But, they won't spend their own $'s , but taxpayer's, to get the analysis they need.

He's merely awaiting the faxed documents for confirmation...
Delaware County is solid Bush Country. It is the county immediately north of Columbus. It has seen a lot of growth. One of the big reasons Franklin County is now Democrat is Delaware County's growth.
I doubt that Delaware County will be the last county in the state to file something like this. I saw some place where the folks in Allen County (Lima) are not very happy about this potential recount. The Allen County folks said they were in the process of talking with other counties.
Someone on another thread said they heard on Hannity's radio show that Kerry-Edwards had lawyers "join in" the suit yesterday. Wonder what that exactly means--is Kerry now willing to throw away any political capital he has (for 2008) and demand a recount himself instead of hiding behind these fringe groups, OR, is his tactic to try to overturn the results by pretending to be doing this for the greenies and libertarians, who of course have NO CHANCE of winning the state in a recount.
What about a recount in NH and WI, two states Skerry won that were as close or closer than OH. Fraud rich WI was the state in 2000 where cigarettes were traded for votes.
Who here thinks that the DUs who contributed money to this fantasy exercise will get it back?
I think Kerry desperately wants to be in it and may indeed be behind it. I suspect he will have no party backing to really create a stink, though. In a way, the real power of the party got exactly what they wanted, 2008 preserved for Spawnette o'Satan. There's also the fact that a loud stink could truly be the death knell of the Democrat party as it currently exists. I don't think the country will tolerate another GoreShow at this point, especially after it's already done except for the "signing of the papers."
