Thanks to the media, this is happening. They have made Bush to be a monster in the sight of the world. Not true, but some believe whatever they read or hear.

Sounds like there were a few, before the latest ruckus, who demonstrated a different view:
Earlier in the day, as Bush arrived on Parliament Hill to greet Martin and sign the government guest book, U.S. Secret Service agents and RCMP officers equipped with rifles and video cameras kept watch over a peaceful crowd of about 200 as they shouted "Go Home" and other slogans.
A small number of pro-Bush demonstrators also showed up to offer a welcome to the conservative, family-values politician.
One of them held a sign reading: "The only mad cow is Carolyn Parrish," referring to the Liberal MP recently thrown out of caucus after repeated verbal attacks against the Americans and Bush.

All weapons make me feel safer, as long as they belong to my side. That of course includes me personally, but Canadians such as these, probably couldn't handle the notion of individually owned weapons. Now the CF Major and Sgt that I once shared an office with, back in the day, are another matter entirely. (Neither was a Quebeqeois, BTW).
I had a pollster call me from Ottawa today. He wanted to know how I felt about France, Germany, President Bush and Kofi Anan. Is there any doubt in any freepers mind what I told him? LOL!

Watching the Bush speech live at the Museum of Civilization. Now a reporterette is standing outside the Hall and there are zero protestors present. Nada. Any protest still going on is out of sight and out of hearing from the President.
The speech is over, and the CBC has cut away to a taped special on Peru. Not much of a newsday for the Canadians I'm afraid.
