Bwhahhahaahah!
Sink baby, and take the Party down with you!
Kerry continues to show the excellent judgement that proves he never should be elected to anything.
The key here is to make SURE this gets pinned on the Dems. Refer to it over and over as the Democratic Recount.

I'm supposed to go to some recount training on Saturday in Cleveland, but I haven't heard much about it.
Also there is something in Columbus to Freep on Saturday to, Jesse Jackass will be there.

Come tomorrow, the vote will be certified for Bush. Meaning that the 20 Ohio electors FOR BUSH will have met the Safe Harbor provisions.
Only the house can challenge them.

What recount? The election will be certified on time by 12/6.
If the Left wants to make Ohio spend money on a recount it will all be academic

"What recount?"
That's exactly what Delaware County is asking. They don't want to do it, especially since the third party candidate only received 1 vote. They say it is too expensive.

I just heard on the news that this person they are filing on behalf of only got one vote in all of Delaware County! And that one vote was a write in! I don't know what Kerry/Edwards are up to but this smells fishy.

Can i ask you all something? Shouldnt we send some big guns down there to put this sh*t to sleep? Can't we just bumrush the whole thing and knock them out with people, lawyers, etc?? Scare them to death, and just knock them out?? Or do you think it would draw too much attention?

To: Next_Time_NJ
Looks like they felt obligated, since they are the true party affected.
Now it is a Dem recount and not a Green party and that eliminates the possibility of it being dismissed by a judge.
I fully expect the count to be identical. They are not dealing with goofy chad laws like in Florida. There will be no significant changes in the count, court interventions and the like, and the Electoral College meets in less than two weeks.
I think they are spending money that was collected for this purpose and need to spend it.

Easy there... accuracy is still important.
What Fox reported was the hand recount of 11 precincts in New Hampshire where Nader received less than 10 additional votes.

Under Ohio law, a recount can take place ONLY AFTER THE VOTE IS CERTIFIED. This is protect the Ohio Slate of Electors. Don't you remember Bush V Gore, Per Curiam??? If a recount were to take place before, there is a possiblity that the Ohio Sec of State would not meet the "Safe Harbor" provision of U.S. Electoral law.

Thats not true... a recount paid for by someone on the ballot can ONLY be done after Blackwell Certifies the vote. It can not be done before that.
