Porsche, aka Ford ???? That's the only way I'm driving a Porsche.

I live in a single wide Mobile home on three acres of land.

Those Euro Weinies have us Republicans all figured out.

If it's the old style 7, maintain that thing and drive with pride for a long time. If it's a Bangle-ized 7, hang your head in shame for buying that ugly POS.

Hey, I like all of those things!

But *six* dogs is a bit much!
Unless, I suppose, they are little beagles.
My parents had a lot of them when I was a kid up in Pa, just about the time that you were a kid, as well. :^)

What about one dog and two cats?

My pride and Joy...a 1973 VW Transporter

Professors on campus assume I'm a fellow traveler, travelling around listening to Zepplin....until they see the back of ma' bus

Some of my favorite stickers include:

AU-H2O N64
Question Authority
Impeach Clinton
W '04
Choose Life
America: A Good Place, Despite what your Professor Tells You!

The profs. turn red with rage, I've desecrated their hippie icon.
They tear the leather patches off of their tweed coats and throw them at me....

One way to look at German cars, is that they are reliable Italian cars. There's a lot to recommend that philosophy, especially since Alfa isn't available here, in any case.

Democrats were 15 per cent more likely to be watching television than Republicans

I'll never forget seeing some TV News sob-story about some welfare folks in New York...
that were gonna' probably have to give up their cable due to cutbacks.

They showed the interior of their digs...better than anything I ever lived in
during college and graduate school.
Plus better TV and sound system.

Just so the DUmmies don't snag us on multiple spelling errors...the legendary German automobile manufacturer is named PORSCHE.

Now, all I need is an extra $80,000 and I can join y'all with these fancy cars! ;-)

Oh yeah, the poor liberal Dems could never have one of these. I just got back from visiting my daughter and son in law, who is a bleeding heart liberal, at Harvard. There were THREE Cayannes in his section of the student parking. I think that the shabbiest thing I saw was a four year old Jeep Grand Cherokee. What the Hell do the parents drive?

Currently driving a D2 A8; very familiar with Audis. Drove a D3 A8 W12 at an AoA sponsored event a couple weeks ago. Euro-spec, had the back seat desk top, fax machine between the seats, and refrigerator where the ski pass-through is supposed to be. Really a monster. Paddle tip shifters. Stick your foot in it at 2k rpm, and you're going really fast, really fast. Gobs of torque.

That's the wife's Boxster in that pic I posted. Perfect for twisties in the mountains.

Once you've lived with Audi interiors, it's hard to go back to most other marques. And German cars are designed to go 120+mph on the Autobahn, and even at a mere 80, they just feel different. And it's a really good "different".

GM may be getting a clue, however. GM spent considerable suspension development time for the CTS-V at the Nurburgring. I'll look at one closely, on the next go-around. With the current exchange rates, I expect it to be a really competitive choice.

Strange. Of all the SUV's, the only ones I saw a TON of Kerry stickers on was the "Jeep Liberty".

I figured F-150 would be number one for Bush. Although Explorers had their share of Bush stickers.

Well, let's see.

I've had to transfer my "Bush/Cheney" stickers several times now.

I took over my son's Passport (SUV), as my Dodge Spirit died a slow and painful death.

So then my son started driving his old Jeep, then it had problems, so then he had to share his girlfriend's car. Then IT started to backfire, so he took the Passport back, and I started driving my fiance's Lincoln. Then, the Jeep got fixed, so I took back the Passport, and now my son is back to driving his Jeep.

I guess you could call us a dysfunctional vehicular family. Analyze THAT you idiots!

Ok, this is gonna sound real bad, but...

In Grad school a roommate of mine always made it a point to have a young "welfare mom" handy. He usually was seeing several girls at a time, but anyhow, that's besides the point.

He explained it to me that "welfare moms" have the nicest stuff and always have food.
When he got tired of Top Ramen, he'd call up an old flame, and go visit, and eat like Caesar.

One night he came back with a box of ice cream.
"Dude, these are Drumsticks!, Real Authentic Drumsticks, not the Ghetto-knock off "Rocky Top Cones" we buy!"

another great line
"Dude, the Welfare Queen has a new Big Screen! BIG HONKIN' SCREEN DUDE! ESPN Picture in Picture, all that.
I'm wanna talk her into getting NFL Season Ticket, but then I think she'll want me to take her out in public"

Not a classy guy, but funny, and proves your point as well.
