'A parent's worst nightmare' 9-year-old girl sexually assaulted in her bedroom
San Francisco Chronicle ^ | 12/9/4 | Jaxon Van Derbeken

A convicted sex offender broke into a San Francisco home in the Ingleside district and raped a 9-year-old girl in her bedroom in an hourlong attack that ended when the girl's mother walked into the room, San Francisco police said.

The man, police say, fled on foot and was chased by the girl's father, who at one point struck him with a 2-by-4. The man continued fleeing through several backyards and was captured by police and identified as Roberto Gamero, 36, of San Francisco, police said.

"It's a parent's worst nightmare,'' said San Francisco police Deputy Chief Morris Tabak of Sunday's attack. "It's pretty horrific. All of us who are parents, it sends chills up your spine.''

Gamero, a prior sex offender who was on probation for an earlier domestic violence case in San Mateo County, . . .

he he he!

Well, I don't tell many people, but if you have chicken nuggets on you, you can have anything in the house. They will even show you where the keys are.

I would guess that the law would hold that that would be about all he could do under the law...if even that. He (the father) would be viewed as the aggressor.

Here in Texas you could chase the SOB down the street and blow him away. No problem.

NO time? I have the time. That slowly released, then held, half breath as my front sight steadies on the back of his head. Enough time for a slow steady trigger squeeze.

As the father of a beautiful baby girl, anyone even THINKS anything like this about her and I'll dismember them with my bare hands and hang the consequences...

The sexual perversion rights people will be arguing that this sicko was "born that way" and should get counseling. Why do you think these freaks are pushing to lower the age of consent?
Pedophilia is a common thread among sexual perverts, gay or otherwise.
There is no "cure" for these predators. they should be hung in the public square and left there for 3 days like they did in the old days.

If that was my daughter, this sicko would be sitting on a slab getting whats left of his head stuck back together.

I'd be filing suit to seize any property this freak had to pay for damages his brain splatter caused.

Plus, they keep the bed nice and toasty. As a kid, I remember reading that is how the term, "Three dog night" was created...it meant that it was so cold that you needed three dogs to keep the bed warm.

I have two pits and a miniature dachshund. The dachshund makes a great foot warmer.

Will someone please tell me why we don't have capital punishment for flagrant, repeated sexual assault?

We had N.O.W. and all sorts of liberal organizations defend a serial rapist and claim that "the first grope is free" in sexual harassment cases.

They refused to examine the evidence that this man was a rapist. All in the name of politics.

It's Bill Clinton's legacy and we all have to deal with it.

Rape has nothing to do with "sex" except when "it's just sex".

Better put some ice on that.

It is a parents worst nightmare. That's why I have a 45 pound Rhodesian Ridgeback, soon to be an 80 pound Rhodesian Ridgeback that sleeps in my daughters room.

A co-worker who lives in Palo Alto has one. He is an absolutely beautiful dog.

Downside? His breeding didnt' kick in. You may remember about 8 months ago a mountain lion wandered into a residential neighborhood in Palo Alto. It was eventually shot by a deputy. That was a half block from our friends home. Kimba, the lion dog, slept through it.

I'm sure you'll have better luck with yours as a guard dog. A good dog or a shotgun would have been much more effective on this scumbag than a 2x4.

Story here

Catch the guy. Hold him down. Give the 2-by-4 back to the father and bring him over to finish the job. Provide a good tool kit, law implements, and wood chipper in case the father wants to be more creative.

I'm of the opinion that all sex offenders in this country should be placed in one facility - for life. Keep all the doors open and let them provide jailhouse justice to each other. There..... that should take care of it......

But it wasn't until just after noon when a Labrador retriever chased the cat down Walter Hayes that police closed in on it.

Took a Lab to get the job done!

"I'll chase any cats that aren't MY cats . . . "

Interestingly enough, my Lab makes a pretty good watchdog. If she hears any noises in the yard she goes on alert, and if somebody tries the door or rings the bell she sounds like a VERY dangerous dog - a big growl that comes all the way from her belly and thunderous deep barks (completely different from the high-pitched bark she has when she's after a squirrel.)

Of course, once the door opens the only thing she's likely to do to you is get your face all wet jumping up and licking you . . . but she sounds very convincing.

Rape has nothing to do with "sex"...

Huh?

Would that be why Rape is called "Sexual Assault" in the statutes of the State of Texas? ...and most other states too, AFAIK.

Hmmm. I'm a heavy sleeper, and although it will be light years until I plan on having children, i will have to tuck into the back of my mind to install a panic button in each of my kids rooms next to their bedpost. That way i can wake up and take corrective action...

Feminists insist that it is about power and violence, not sex. That some of the men cannot even "perform" during the assault.
