Holy Father,

How seldom we consider the awesome wonder of the Son of God actually coming to earth to live and dwell among us, then to die, paying the price for our sins through His own precious blood. The gift of Jesus is truly the greatest gift of all---One that we cannot earn, but One that You freely give to those who choose to accept it. Father, so much ado and confusion and busyness crowds around this season of celebration, and yet there in the midst, is the One, True, Gift---the Gift of Life Eternal for those willing to receive it. For this cause we bow in humble gratitude for Your wonderful gift of love and grace.

Father, we come before You as a body of believers asking You to help our President to be renewed each day by Your steadfast love and faithfulness. Increase the strength of his soul as You fulfill Your purpose for him. We know that You never forsake the work of Your hands. Help our President to love You so much that his thoughts of You are both precious and countless. As You discern his thoughts, may Your Spirit guide him into a full acceptance and desire for Your will. May he exalt Your Name every morning as he awakens and again realizes Your faithfulness. Help him to bask in the light of Your love and glory in Your unfailing truth. Father, grant him special mercies and abundant guidance as he continues to replace members of his cabinet and considers judicial appointees. Keep him steady and unwavering in Your strength as You uphold him with Your righteous right hand.

Lord, please comfort and strengthen our troops stationed around the world and in Iraq as they endure various trials and the uncertainty of their surroundings. We pray for strength and stability in the Iraqi government and courage for all Christians there. We ask also, Father, that Your protection would surround the election process to be held in January so that the people of Iraq may begin a long journey on the road of freedom and democracy.

Father, help us to pray for great things as we lift up America to You. Stir in the heart of this nation a desire to end the slaughter of innocent babies, a passion for stable marriages between one man and one woman, and a hunger and thirst for righteousness. Make our leaders great because they love and serve You, and help us to acknowledge You as our Almighty God and Father. In the Name of Your Precious Son, our Savior, Jesus Christ. Amen.

Amen, faithful one.

We bless You, Father, for the anointing you have on our President to succeed at what he sets his hand to. We believe that you are ordering his steps. Give him the time to clear his mind of the cacophony of worldly advice and criticisms so that he can hear your still, small voice saying, "This is the way. Walk in it."

We also ask for time for physical renewal and restoration and thank you for providing that for him as well. We confess that his youth is renewed like the eagles.

We give you glory today for because You have promised to do exceeding abundantly above all we could ask or think. As Faith has asked for "great things as we lift up America to You" we acknowledge that what she has specifically asked for comes from Your heart as well. We form a symphony together and with Your Spirit in agreement for righteousness to prevail and Jesus to be lifted up. We can feel Your pain as people make choices which are hurtful to them.

We are grateful for Your love and power to change lives one at a time. Your remnant plead for more souls, open doors of utterance and laborers thrust into a waiting Harvest.

In the name of Your precious Son, Jesus, the Christ, we pray. Amen.

Father, so much ado and confusion and busyness crowds around this season of celebration, and yet there in the midst, is the One, True, Gift---the Gift of Life Eternal for those willing to receive it. For this cause we bow in humble gratitude for Your wonderful gift of love and grace.

Father, we pray that our hearts be filled with reverence and awe as we pause to ponder the meaning of Christmas. We pray for some way to set Christ above and apart from the insubstantial celebration -- set apart from any mention of Santa Claus, Kwanza, or the superficialities that intrude at this time of year.

Father, we thank you so much for the President's re-election and return to office. We pray that he have the unimpeded opportunity to fill the Supreme Court with God-honoring justices. We recognize that godless judges and lawyers are running amok and taking this country in a different direction, a secular, Christ-hating direction. We fear that this opportunity to reign them in may be missed. Father, we most strongly plead that occasion be given to the President to appoint many new members to the Supreme Court and the lower District Courts. Please remove the Chist-hating impediments to rectifying the evil Judicial Branch of government. We ask that you stop the evil decisions of the 9th District Court of Appeals.

Father, we ask that the upcoming elections in Iraq may bring a successful outcome -- if nothing else -- than to shut the mouths of the liberal naysayers in our country and marginalize the brutal murdering terrorists roaming Iraq. Grant our troops unprecedented success and a wall of fire of protection.

Amen.

Amen to those well-chosen words.
Hear our united prayer.
Receive it in Christ's name,
we do say pray.

AMEN FAITH AND AMEN ALL!
GRACE AND BLESSINGS TO YOU BRETHREN!

Ps 50:1 A Psalm of Asaph. The Mighty One, God the LORD, Has spoken and called the earth From the rising of the sun to its going down.
2 Out of Zion, the perfection of beauty, God will shine forth.
3 Our God shall come, and shall not keep silent; A fire shall devour before Him, And it shall be very tempestuous all around Him.
4 He shall call to the heavens from above, And to the earth, that He may judge His people:
5 "Gather My saints together to Me, Those who have made a covenant with Me by sacrifice."
6 Let the heavens declare His righteousness, For God Himself is Judge. Selah
7 "Hear, O My people, and I will speak, O Israel, and I will testify against you; I am God, your God!
8 I will not rebuke you for your sacrifices Or your burnt offerings, Which are continually before Me.
9 I will not take a bull from your house, Nor goats out of your folds.
10 For every beast of the forest is Mine, And the cattle on a thousand hills.
11 I know all the birds of the mountains, And the wild beasts of the field are Mine.
12 "If I were hungry, I would not tell you; For the world is Mine, and all its fullness.
13 Will I eat the flesh of bulls, Or drink the blood of goats?
14 Offer to God thanksgiving, And pay your vows to the Most High.
15 Call upon Me in the day of trouble; I will deliver you, and you shall glorify Me."
16 But to the wicked God says: "What right have you to declare My statutes, Or take My covenant in your mouth,
17 Seeing you hate instruction And cast My words behind you?
18 When you saw a thief, you consented with him, And have been a partaker with adulterers.
19 You give your mouth to evil, And your tongue frames deceit.
20 You sit and speak against your brother; You slander your own mother's son.
21 These things you have done, and I kept silent; You thought that I was altogether like you; But I will rebuke you, And set them in order before your eyes.
22 "Now consider this, you who forget God, Lest I tear you in pieces, And there be none to deliver:
23 Whoever offers praise glorifies Me; And to him who orders his conduct aright I will show the salvation of God."
(NKJV)

Dear Lord,
thankyou for this very moment Your saints can gather for prayer and fellowship.
we pray for all of Your saints and especially for george walker bush, laura bush, their family and counsel.
we pray they all be a witness to Your infinite mercy and grace and we continue to pray in gratitude for Your watching over this nation.
we pray for all of our troops, may the ones in harms way be safe in Your hands, may the injured heal under Your touch, may the families be comforted by Your gaze.

"Faithful is he that calleth you, who also will do it."
- 1 Thessalonians 5:24

Heaven is a place where we shall never sin; where we shall cease our
constant watch against an indefatigable enemy, because there will be no
tempter to ensnare our feet. There the wicked cease from troubling, and
the weary are at rest. Heaven is the "undefiled inheritance"; it is the
land of perfect holiness, and therefore of complete security. But do not
the saints even on earth sometimes taste the joys of blissful security?
The doctrine of God's word is, that all who are in union with the Lamb are
safe; that all the righteous shall hold on their way; that those who have
committed their souls to the keeping of Christ shall find him a faithful
and immutable preserver.
Sustained by such a doctrine we can enjoy security even on earth; not
that high and glorious security which renders us free from every slip, but
that holy security which arises from the sure promise of Jesus that none
who believe in him shall ever perish, but shall be with him where he is.
Believer, let us often reflect with joy on the doctrine of the
perseverance of the saints, and honour the faithfulness of our God by a
holy confidence in him.

May our God bring home to you a sense of your safety in Christ Jesus! May
he assure you that your name is graven on his hand; and whisper in your
ear the promise, "Fear not, I am with thee.
" Look upon him, the great Surety of the covenant, as faithful and true,
and, therefore, bound and engaged to present you, the weakest of the
family, with all the chosen race, before the throne of God; and in such a
sweet contemplation you will drink the juice of the spiced wine of the
Lord's pomegranate, and taste the dainty fruits of Paradise.
You will have an antepast of the enjoyments which ravish the souls of the
perfect saints above, if you can believe with unstaggering faith that
"faithful is he that calleth you, who also will do it.
"
