Is it time for a who's going to the W2 Inaugural Ball and where will you be staying (and what will you be wearing) thread?

Click for Ball Info

If so, I'll start off.

The Good Lord willing, Sheila and I will be there accompanied by Syncro, and we'll be staying at the Washington Plaza Hotel. Chris is working and won't be able to take time off to drive us across country so our good friend Syncro has offered to take us. We'll be taking the southern route and will spend a few days in Florida before heading up to Washington, DC. Hope to visit as many chapters as we can along the way. And if anyone wants to join a cross country convoy, that would be great!

Sheila and I are thinking about cowboy hats and boots. We're in the mood for some boot, scoot and boogie!

Chris may be able to take a couple days off so he can fly out for the Ball, but he doesn't know yet. John and Tami will also be there and her son Nicky and her mom.

This is going to be a great ball!

Hope to see you there!!

That's where we are staying, 3 couples, but i don't think I will make the ball, but will definitely stand with the FReepers at the parade and maybe if there is a lunch the night before or whatever.

We just got word from Metro...

Metro will have extended hours for Inauguration day.

Metro will open at 5 a.m. on Thursday, Jan. 20 and close at 2 a.m. on Friday, Jan. 21.

Are you planning to take the Metro or drive in? I have not decided yet. If taking the Metro will go to Greenbelt. I just do not like walking at night in DC in fancy dress. That is why I am thinking of driving. Plus I have to work the next day.
