An Israeli Knesset member from Prime Minister Ariel Sharon's ruling Likud party has described all Arabs as worms in a parliamentary debate.
Yehiel Hazan, parliamentary leader of the biggest lobby group for Jewish colonists illegally settling in the occupied West Bank and Gaza Strip, said on Monday:
"The Arabs are worms. You find them everywhere like worms, underground as well as above."
Hazan continued: "Until we understand that we're doing business with a nation of assassins and terrorists who don't want us here, there will be no let up. These worms have not stopped attacking Jews for a century."
The Knesset member refused to rescind his comments as demanded by the speaker of parliament.
The right-wing Likud MP was speaking one day after five Israelis and two Palestinian resistance fighters were killed in an attack on an Israeli army post at the Rafah border crossing between Egypt and the Gaza Strip.

Four Israelis were killed and 10 others were wounded in a Palestinian bomb attack at the Israeli checkpoint between Gaza and Egypt, a senior Israeli official said.
Palestinians said they tunnelled under the crossing point and set off more than a ton of explosives.
“As of now we have at least 10 people who were hurt, four dead and the efforts for the rescue operation still continue,” said Raanan Gissin, a top aide to Prime Minister Ariel Sharon, in an interview with Associated Press Television News.

I find it interesting that the article does include the sentence: "The Knesset member refused to rescind his comments as demanded by the speaker of parliament." This concession indicates that Al-Jazeera is more objective than, e.g., the New York Times.
Well...the MK was remarkably restarined, imho.
Now there is no need to sink that low in describing Arabs. LOL! 
First time for everything. For the NYT, it's probably been long enough that paper can't remember what it was like being objective. Sort of like being the town drunk, you're drunk often enough that you forget what it felt like being sober.

That's an insult to a very useful creature. I was trying to think of something, anything that might fit. The only thing I could come up with is SNAKE. But honestly, there isn't a single living thing that compares with an arab...even slime mould has its uses.
A human parasite, perhaps?
