WASHINGTON -- The generation-long political retreat of Democrats across the South is disintegrating into a rout.
President Bush dominated the South so completely in last month's presidential election that he carried nearly 85 percent of all the counties across the region -- and more than 90 percent of counties where whites are a majority of the population, a Los Angeles Times analysis of the election shows.

You should take your own advice. Calling Jefferson Davis a president was a joke, you know, funny because there's no truth in it. Lighten up.
That's a scary stat. Bet John Adams is spinning.
I've heard food ideas that make me go BLECH! before but that one's a classic! BLECH! SQUARED!
Perhaps, they should go have an intimate chat with Ernest Hollings.
Or maybe they should get Robert Byrd all liquored up and ask him what he really thinks about race relations...
hahahaaa! :^)
Yeah, isn't it, though? Glad I live in Red Country! :^D
They're instead of their. (Grammar police in action)

RATs are as unpopular in Utah as dead flys in the blue plate special.
Didn't Utah have a bigger percentage of Bush voters than any other state?
Western Pennsylvania sounds a lot like the old Democratic only south, where you had to be a Democrat to get elected. But we are changing that, with the help of Reagan, W, and the demo-libs. Our goal is to make Western PA red by 2008 by recruiting all of the conservative dems, blacks included, away from the now rotten Democratic Party whose values don't represent anybody around here but the gay fanatics and the anti-America leftists. We are going to try to show that the Dems are not the party of the working person, but the party of the ACLU lawyers, AIDS spreaders, abortionists, appeasers, and anti-Americans, in spite of the support of the union hack leadership.
