Hey Mark, if there ever was a case where a plea bargin was in order, this was it. Scott should win an appeal on incompentent defense grounds.

"Geragos asks for help to free the man he says he knows is innocent"

He knows he is innocent? I guess that means that Geragos saw the murders and knows exactly who did it and refuses to come forward with the information. Or he is full of sh*t. I wonder which one?

Now, I'm not defending Scot Peterson nor do I have any doubts about his guilt. To tell the truth I have tried to avoid the case as much as possible. I was aware of his defense about a deranged group of baby stealers or something though not fine tuned to the details of the defense, however, with that said...

the case in Missouri of the baby being cut out of a mother by psycho-mom is enough to give anybody pause. For those out there that thought his defense was absolutely ridiculous? Think again. There are people out there that are just that sick.

Will they search the bay for the anchors that the "killers" used to sink Laci's body?

Just send him to the death row already, with Geragos as his personal rump-ranger.

Little Connor's body washed ashore with his Mom's body.

So - you're saying someone cut him out of his mother's body and then threw him into the water to drown?

No, I'm not saying that at all. I was saying that, before the bodies were discovered, people blew off SP's "theory" as being ridiculous. Nobody would do that sort of thing, cult? stealing unborn children? human sacrafices? sheesh, how crazy is that? In light of the news out of Missouri this week, his "theory" (on it's own, without evidence that had come out since then, including the discovery of the bodies) doesn't sound so crazy after all.

I read yesterday that when Laci's body was found, Scott was at his half-sister's home in Berkley.

He then hightailed it down to San Diego to stay at his half sister's inlaw's home while they were out of town. That is why he was found in San Diego.

I don't know if that was ever brought up in court.

This is not the first time a baby was cut from the mother's body. Not sure how many people called the theory ridiculous - but all the facts in the Peterson case were pointing in another direction.

I hope something horrible like this never happens again - but it very well might.

SP is not going to get off - so it's a moot point now.

Sorry, all my money is tied up in Michael Jackson Futures.

But for anyone interested, Geragos' new venture is called Stone-Cold Acquittal Mission, SCAM, for short.

I want a list of the idiots dumb enough to send this lousy lawyer (who couldn't even be bothered to stay in the vicinity for the big verdict) money to pay himself to carry on this farce - and see if I can get some money from them, too.

If that idiot Geragos is so convinced, it's time to go pro bono - he's grabbed enough loot already, and succeeded in getting his client sent to Death Row.

Way to go, Slick.
