There must be some mistake, but is it possible to fix this stupid mistake (providing the website gives the same document as the hard copy)?

It could be his legal name. I always had suspicions he changed his name just to get the JFK monogram.

Love it. Even his supporters want to forget who he is! This is the first step in that process.

From the LGF poster
torpedo1 on the article...
Haha, the superior intelligence of the leftists never ceases to amaze me.
The sad thing is, if this happened in Florida or Ohio and it was "George Q Bush" or something like that... you know damn well the left would start suing everyone that moved, claiming that Bush didn't actually win the state and thus shouldn't get the EVs.
The poster is 100% correct.
The problem though for the left in such a course is that it still wouldn't give Kerry the White House. Neither candidate would have 270. It goes to the House. Bush wins.
Another incompentent attempt by the left shot down.
To: mhx
I assume the Congress will just vote to accept them as votes for the "real" John Kerry, if the issue even comes up. (I'm not sure a way is provided for them to change what the certification says in flight...)

One wonders...do we laugh or weep? Typos when chatting are one thing...but on official election documents? Look at your keyboard...L is not even close to F.
Of course...it could be the typist was a mischievous Republican;)

I don't understand your comment. Kerry carried NY anyway, so EVEN if this vote was not allocated to JFK, it wouldn't change a thing...

"I assume the Congress will just vote to accept them as votes for the "real" John Kerry" LOL - Your post raises the age-old question - Who IS the "Real" Kerry? - And which one of his numerous alter-egos are these votes cast for?

Be funny if some paper up in Massachusetts finds a John L. Kerry and gets his picture out as: 'Received 31 electoral votes from New Yrok.'

Re-read what I was responding too.

Be funny if some paper up in Massachusetts finds a John L. Kerry and gets his picture out as: 'Received 31 electoral votes from New York'. Be even funnier if some FReeper were to develop a Boston Herald Front Page with same and posted prominently on DU sites! I would but don't have the skills - yet.

John L Kerry: 31
John Edwards: 1

Not to mention also signed by one "Robert Zimmerman" ..... hmmm, didn't know that ol' Bobby Dylan was a designated Elector in the state of New York, ehhh ?? :)
To: Mike Fieschko
We need to find a guy in Massachusetts named John L. Kerry and pay him to go to the Capitol on January 6th and demand to have New York's electoral votes given to him! Anything to make the RATS' pain a little worse.
