[history]
SEATTLE (AP) - Democrat Christine Gregoire has won the Washington governor's race by 130 votes over Republican Dino Rossi, according to final recount results from King County.
King County was the last county to report in the statewide hand recount, the third count of ballots in the governor's election. The election results have not been certified and probably will be challenged in court.

I'm seeing that - they were ever-so tentative when Rossi was certified as the winner weeks ago. Now, it's a done deal and they report Gregoire with confidence, eh?

If theyre going to let these votes come in a month and a half after the legal election day. what about the thousands and thousands of military votes they refused to count because they said they went out too late? This whole thing is a travisty!

I have a serious question.
Has there ever been a recount where the Republican lead has grown? It seems to me that in every one the Democrat has ended up gaining the majority of the votes.

I have had to move to Seattle from Texas to care for an elderly parent. Now I have Patty Murray for my Senator, Jim McDermott for my Congressman and, it looks like Christine Gregoire for my Governor.
And to think that I used to get irritated with Governor Rick Perry or Kay Bailey Hutchison. Oh well, I did not know how well off I was.

The Dems did that in Fairfax County 20 some years ago. The fellow who'd won a seat in the state legislature was Asian American, and the Dems didn't "one of them" in office.
So they counted and recounted and counted again until a Dem won.
Interestingly enough, the Dems finally came around to the idea they ought to have an Asian-American somewhere in their line up to show the 35% of the local population who are Asian-American that all Dems aren't just enemy aliens of some sort.
It's instructive that they picked a Korean-American who'd actually commited vote fraud to be their guy.
They never learn 'cause they can't!
This Grigoire woman might get the office in the end, but it's going to give the Dems a smarmy look and feel that won't ever wash off.

They don't want to see the people of Washington respond the way the people of the Ukraine did. Then the MSM will be forced to cover the story.

She wouldn't concede after two loses... now wants him to concede for the sake of the people? The only way they can ever win is lie, cheat, steal and cry foul and whine the loudest. They should dispute. How can you not find 700 ballots for weeks ??? NO one saw them, .... I guess if it took Hillary 2 plus years to find billing records. Rossi should not concede no matter what the count. Can he appeal the state supreme court ruling ?

The whole thing really stinks! I am on the east coast and watching this unfold is amazing. What is more amazing is it is allowed to happen!
