THE GRINCH

THE GRINCH

12-year-old Bryan LaFond, a 7th grader at the Hampton Academy Junior High school, recently decided that he would attend his school's Christmas dance. His chosen attire for said dance: A Santa suit. Imagine that!

So what happened? Principal Fred Muscara, concerned that somebody might be offended, send the kid home to change. No Santa suits allowed at their Christmas party. He was told to change into more secular attire. The assault on Christmas by the left continues. Pretty soon every tradition in this country will be banned by those seeking to force their agendas down our throats. Would he have been asked to leave had he shown up in traditional Islamic garb? I doubt it. Speaking to a local newspaper, the good principal had this to say: "It was a holiday party. It was not a Christmas party. There is a separation of church and state. We have a lot of students that go to Hampton Academy Junior High that have different religions. We have to be sensitive to that." By the way, did you know the words "separation of church and state" do not exist in the United States Constitution? Go impress your friends with that one.

At any rate, on this day, Christmas Eve, perhaps it would be appropriate to drop Mr. Muscara a line, to tell him what you think (and wish him a Merry Christmas:)

Principal Fred Muscara Hampton Academy Junior High School 29 Academy Avenue Hampton NH 03842 Phone 603.926.2000 - FAX 603.926.1855 E-mail: fmuscara@sau21.k12.nh.us

Maybe if people like this get the message more often, they'll start to realize just how out of the mainstream they are. Maybe.

He should be Fired. Parents should fight untill he is Fired, and then tell the next Principal that they will also be fired if they ever try to use the "separation" lie again.

This is how you fix this problem.

Also Pull your kids out of the school for a week and sing christmas carols, and march around the school grounds while praying for the salvation of the godless ones inside.

Like most of the antics of the left, this one will only bring scorn upon them. Americans tend to try to be fair which is why the left can hide beyond the "no offense" defense. But our patience is being worn very thin and I suspect in the next year or two it'll snap. Places like Target are already paying the price. More to follow.

Oh, really Mr. Muscara? I assume you were speaking about something written in the US Constitution? Or maybe the Bill Of Rights? Would you please quote the section that states there must be a "separation" between organized religion and the government?

I live in Massachusetts and we all know how left they are up here. I can tell you from personal experience that my neighbors, liberals to the tune of 80% are ALL pis*ed off and even embarrassed at the way their party's supporters are mercilessly attacking the beliefs and celebrations of those they disagree with. The word I hear most often used is "unfair" As usual the lame left has overdone it again as they always do. They are totally numb to the political effects of their actions especially when those actions are directed against 90% of the country.

Email sent to the principle:

Merry Christmas! "I'm making a list and checking it twice......guess which one you're on?"

I don't know how to put a pic on this site, but there was a picture of Santa making out his list and you see the rest.

This is ridiculous. I'm an atheist, but I'm also a conservative. These whackos who are getting all bent out of shape about Christmas are nuts. They must still be peed off at Dubya's victory. In general, both sides are off about the separation thing. But Christmas is _both_ a religious _and_ a secular holiday -- it's not just a Christian thing, but Christians have as much right to observe it as anyone in whatever way they want. If Christians want to put a manger scene on the courthouse lawn, let 'em. But if protest is becoming the new way to celebrate the season, then shame on them.

any american can go to rutherford.org and know their rights. the twelve rules of christmas explain our rights in simple english, however, school and town officals apparently cannot read....it is up to us the american people to speak out and stand up againist the radical left who are anti american..stop buying products from wal mart, target, macys and anyother anti christmas retailer. it is up to americans to perserve traditional america....
I LOVE CHRISTMAS......MERRY CHRISTMAS AND HAPPY NEW YEAR AMERICA........................

the principal had this to say: "It was a holiday party. It was not a Christmas party. There is a separation of church and state...

... and therefore since I am imposing a dress code on a private citizen I am using the powers of the state to impress a religious viewpoint and I am in violation of the very separation of church and state that I supposedly espouse, uh, err... nevermind ..."
