In today's mail, I received a letter from President George W. Bush thanking me personally for my help in the 2004 Election.
Just wondering...Who else here on Free Republic received such letter?
We did. Looked authentic.
Got one from GWB and the funniest one was from Tom DASHole
thanking me, then I realized I had opened my neighbors mail by mistake, when I took it over to him he looked at laughed and threw it in file 13 he dodn't vote for him either.
I got mine! I compared the signature on the letter with the signature on the Christmas Card, and while they are the same signature, the letter one looks more hand-written.
I got mine today...the only way I could tell it was photocopied was that the ink in my name, state and the mailing date were different from the rest...also, a slight difference in the "d"s and "e"s...other than quite authentic looking.
bump!
Me :))
"Who else here on Free Republic received such letter?"
Not me.
I don't count, I'm an Independent.
Ans a Viet Nam Vet
I received one today and was thrilled. It speaks well of the entire Republican organization to remember those of us who walked the precincts, worked phone banks, were poll challengers, etc.
I did. :)
Ditto
I got mine on Tuesday: The boys, home from school, met the mailman at the box, and came running to the house yelling "Mommy! A letter from President Bush!!!" I thought the gesture was nice, but to them it rocked!
They probable changed the name and state in each letter. But it still made me happy to recieve it.
