Does this leap of Sumatra mean the GPS in the car will have to be reprogramed. What about military applications of GPS or mapping done by the military. For example if our navy needs to send a missile to a specific coordinate, will this cause specific problems with destruction of targets?

I have been wondering that too. It is kind kind of wierd. Still, Phucat was a hot spot, so many might have been there just to be in the "in" crowd.
