Teresa Heinz Eyeing House Seat for Son
Newsmax.com ^ | 12/27/04 | unknown

Teresa Heinz may have failed in her bid to become first lady, but she's not giving up on buying her way into political power.

"The word in Pennsylvania is that Kerry and other family members are pressing her son Chris Heinz to run for a House of Representatives seat," says the Washingtonian Magazine. "Chris Heinz is attractive and photogenic, and campaign funding won’t be a problem," the mag notes.

The tart tongued billionairess who calls opponents "scumbags" also believes that leading conservative Sen. Rick Santorum is beatable in 2006.

Mrs. Heinz is expected to pour some of her ketchup cash into the coffers of any challenger who stands a chance against Santorum.

there was mention that their older son is not on speaking terms with his mother and the family, what's up with that?

I don't know of that.

attractive and photogenic" :these are also the qualifying characteristics to be a member of the mainstream media.

Helen Thomas, Eleanor Clift, ........?

Clearly exceptions to the rule.

Wow ... being a Pretty Boy who takes great pictures makes a heck of a resume to run for Public Office

Chris Heinz is attractive and photogenic, and campaign funding won’t be a problem . . .

However, being as dumb as a mud fence could be a problem.

I must say...........Gwyneth turns me on. I know.... she's said all the stupid liberal things, but she just turns me on. Can't help it, it's a physical thing.

Shakespeare in Love..... she is one great actress.

How about a tax on the estates of undeserving gold diggers who inherit more money than God and use it for evil? Say, at 98 percent? That would be a tax I would support.

That's pretty stiff, so to speak.

Maybe there should just be an American Gigolo Tax.

;-)

I believe the seat in question is Melissa Hart's congressional seat. She is up for re-election the next time around. Quite contrasting candidates (Melissa, the incumbent, is from a working class background, and has a very sound record of service to run on). Chris, well I think he has run with the Hollywood/New York acting crowd (which makes him infinitely qualified to represent the people of Pittsburgh).

As an aside, though, I was happy to see that Missy is now a little more made up, and dressing nicer...she must be using a stylist.

Lastly, isnt there some rift between the Heinz brothers? Isn't Chris Heinz the middle son, and the oldest didn't have anything to do with step-dad's campaign? Any info?

What's the cost of a house seat these days? Any more than the one for a commode?

The idiot does not understand legislation. The Senate and Congress have to pass a bill to bring back the draft. THEN it would be submitted to the Pres for signature.

That's cute. This excuse for an adult needs a shower, a shave, and figure out how to dress properly. Surprised he didn't cut himself cutting that birthday cake for the kiddies.

No denying he's an idiot but I think it's pretty obvious he was lying when he made those claims. That's what they all do.

no matter how well groomed a person is.

Well groomed?!?! Look at #28. I wouldn't let that POS on my property. I'd call the police and file charges for vagrancy.
