From Pot to Porn to AARP - (Don't miss this information!)

The American Association for Retired Persons now calls itself simply "AARP" because some members are offended by the term "retired" and it wants to appeal to younger Americans. But the organization is now trying to explain a far more serious and deceptive practice. It hired an admitted former drug user and dealer as an editor of its 22-million circulation magazine. He has emerged as a spokesman on the so-called "medical marijuana" issue, telling America that seniors might benefit from smoking dope.

With the assistance of Jeanette McDougal of Drug Watch International, anti-drug activists Joyce Nalepka and Dee Rathbone uncovered the Dwyer connection when they read how AARP had "decided to study" the issue of "medical marijuana."

Grandparents are the most anti-drug segment of our society."

Perhaps this is why seniors have been targeted with a poll that is being used to push dope. Forcade, if he were alive, would be proud of AARP The Magazine.

When I was a teenager.. an old codger in his eighties across the street would come over almost daily to partake in smoke. He said it helped counteract some of his reactions from various drugs they had him on... he didn't smoke a fatty, but he did smoke out of his own pipe. And now you know the rest of the story.

I imagine the context is anti-illegal drugs, not anti-drug.

The AARP and Lyndon LaRouche have announced a campaign against private personal accounts for Social Security, even though the system was originally designed to provide such accounts to individuals. Larouche, a former Marxist and convicted felon who always runs for president, is issuing a mass pamphlet entitled "Bush's Social Security Privatization: A Foot-in-the-Door for fascism." Meantime, AARP, described by the New York Times as "the influential lobby for older Americans," is spending $5 million on an advertising blitz to defeat the Bush plan. In fact, as we disclosed, AARP The Magazine has been taken over by the counter-culture. Older Americans would be horrified if they knew.

seniors might benefit from smoking dope.

Perfectly true (and even more true of inhaling via vaporizer, which involves no combustion).

I imagine too many seniors whine too much; in the 1980s while unemployed due to work injuries I drove my $100 '69 Dodge to a church for the gov't cheese, butter etc. where a bunch of old ladies with parlor hairdos and very late model Olds,Pontiacs, etc made snide remarks about my "youth and laziness" pitched just loud enough to be sure they were heard. I bet not one of the senior citizens was dealing with the severe chronic pain I endured until my back surgery some months later.

Personally I have long held in contempt those who believe reaching a certain age is an automatic ticket to free medical care , an rv and vacation home ,late model cars and vacation cruises on at the younger people's expense.

WE seldom hear from or about hose millions who retire quietly but we sure hear enough from the GIMME crowd at AARP !!!!

You mean that one 30-year-old guy at 1969 Woodstock? Why he'd be 65.

But 30-years olds were not in vogue, and certainly not at Woodstock. Ever hear the 60's phrase, "Don't trust anyone over 30?

I'm 66. Take no medications. Have perfect health (thank God) and enjoy an occasional doobah. Smoked my first one in 1958. I also enjoy Coors Light Beer.

Yeah. I saw that. The one with Tom Hanks? Where they land at Normandy, then they find the guy, then there's a big battle and Hanks dies?
