OTOH, most churches have no homosexual members. It's a lot easier to hate the person who's not there, it seems to me. Church should be about "us" sinners but it is too often about "them" sinners.
I ran a Sunday school class for a while. I had one hard rule. You couldn't talk about what "they" did. You could talk about what "we" do all you wanted to. Visitors didn't stay very often.
