Iraqi Insurgents Threaten Attack Inside United States
Agence France-Presse, with files from The Daily Telegraph ^ | Tuesday, January 04, 2005 | Ned Parker

Posted on 01/04/2005 12:29:47 PM PST by West Coast Conservative

BAGHDAD - The Islamic Army in Iraq, one of the main armed groups fighting U.S. forces in the war-torn country, has threatened to carry out attacks inside the United States, according to a statement posted on a Web site yesterday.

This year "will bring woes on America. The mujahedeen [holy warriors] have prepared big surprises for your sons outside America and a big surprise for you inside America," said the statement, the authenticity of which could not be confirmed.

The statement appeared to mark a disturbing shift in strategy by the shadowy Sunni Muslim group that has claimed a number of attacks and killings of hostages in Iraq, including an Italian journalist and two Pakistanis.

The mujahedeen "will take the battle from inside our country [Iraq] to yours," the statement said.

"We address you after you finished celebrating the new year, hoping that you are no longer drunk.... We will give American civilians a taste of what civilians in our country go through," said the statement, presented as a "message to the American people."

The statement, which described Americans as "uncivilized" and "ignorant," claimed that "the whole world" hates the United States.

"Are you aware that the number of those who support striking America on its own turf has greatly increased?" it said.

"Last year was a picnic for your soldiers [in Iraq]. The year 2005 will witness a quantitative and qualitative change in the operations against your army, which will go down in history," the statement said.

SNIP

"Those who participate in this dirty farce will not be sheltered from the blows of the mujahedeen," the statement said.

These smelly little pigs ("muhajideen") don't seem to have a clue that they are self-worshipping atheists, the biggest infidels of all.

*Yawn*

I'm sure that legions of Liberals will be wetting themselves over this proclamation and will be immediately calling, yet again, for us to pull out of Iraq, that we should throw down our arms and beg for forgiveness from the rest of the world.

Yes, their a bit tied up with murdering their own (along with some of our soldiers). Something tells me THIS is exactly why W took the fight over to them....so they'd be too busy getting themselves killed or captured over there.

Iraqi Insurgents Threaten Attack Inside United States

BAGHDAD - The Islamic Army in Iraq, one of the main armed groups fighting U.S. forces

Dear Agence France Presse,

You may want to try the dictionary:

insurgent Pronunciation: -j&nt
Function: noun
Etymology: Latin insurgent-, insurgens, present participle of insurgere to rise up, from in- + surgere to rise -- more at SURGE
1 : a person who revolts against civil authority or an established government; especially : a rebel not recognized as a belligerent.

*******End******

If it is the Iraqi Army planning the attacks, then that would be the enemy, not the 'insurgents'

Internment camps will be popping up faster than Starbucks in the US if any of these Muslim scumbags carry out any of these threats. Americans, with their 1.7 guns, will be hunting Arabs down in the streets.

"But the Islamic Army has shown a willingness to bend when it has felt its political ends are being met. It chose to spare French journalists Georges Malbrunot and Christian Chesnot in December after holding them captive for four months.

It said the pair were being freed "because they were proven not to spy for U.S. forces, in response to appeals and demands from Islamic institutions and bodies, and in appreciation of the French government's stand on the Iraq issue and the two journalists' stand on the Palestinian
cause."

Here's your answer. Collaborating with the enemy.

Well then it's my error and I apologize! I thought the story I posted which said this from my post:

A group calling itself the Islamic Army In Iraq threatened to transfer the battle in 2005 into inside the USA. It said in a statement on the Internet that the American people will be deprived during the few coming days from security which its government aims to achieve. This came at a time when attacks and explosions continued in various parts of Iraq, most of them concentrated in the capital and areas situated to its north.

was about the same group!

publically declare Mecca & Medina targets one $ two for immediate incineration should these peaceniks every use a nuke in the US. they just love allegory for expressing the warped manhood.

we publicize the missiles be retargeted so that all -- even the feckless UN -- will see and know that each one can fly in minutes.

we should give them an image or two to noodle on : - )

Americans are not Iraqi's. We will fight back and we are armed and willing to defend ourselves. We are not sheep like many Iraqi's. So let them try to attack in the USA. There are many Americans who will take matters into their own hands and not wait for formal action by the government.

Well then it's my error and I apologize!

No problem. Just another in the ongoing exchange over the "already been posted" debate. The way I see it, true duplicate posts, same article, same source should be controlled. That goes for, say, the exact same AP or other wire service story posted at two different web news sites.

But on two original articles on the same news event, I don't think we want to stifle that kind of input to FR. How news is reported is as important to FR as what is being reported. Best Regards!

I firmly believe, Mike, that if they could do it, they would do it, and brag afterward. When they boast before the fact it is a sign of their lack of manhood, oops I mean strength. If you're in Iraq you can certainly comment as to the veracity of what I say.

You think so? Or would Americans cower like they did in the face of two lousy snipers in Washington? Or would the US government spend billions to protect the muzzies by arresting and prosecuting any native (born) American who even breathed a murmur of a threat toward any one of them? I honestly don't know what would happen.

But I will say this: I fear that before this is all over we are going to all have an attitude of "nobody ever said we were going to live forever" because the killing is going to be wholesale.

No, Boob, what will go down in history is Iraqis voting in free and fair elections. These Iraqis will join Afghani men and women in voting and tasting freedom for the first time. No roadside bomb, beheading or RPG will diminish this, and I just wish I could be there to see your face, when you find out your "Paradise" is really Hell..
