Rewarding Outlaws

One of the emerging battles in President Bush's second term is going to be what to do about illegal immigration.

For those of you a bit desensitized by the practice, allow me to bring you back up to speed. Illegal immigration happens when illegal aliens illegally break the laws of the United States and illegally sneak into this country. Make sense? I thought so.

Anyway, George Bush wants to institute a sort of blanket amnesty for illegals. Rather than enforce the law, which would mean rounding up the illegal aliens and shipping them back to Mexico, the president wants to give them a pass. A working pass, that is. Under the president's plan, illegal aliens would be allowed to apply for and receive a work permit to work in this country legally. This would put them on a path to citizenship. In other words, they would be rewarded for breaking our laws? So what's wrong with that?

Plenty. First of all, in a post-9/11 world, we should be tightening our borders, not loosening them. If the president gets his way, Al-Qaeda agents would be able to apply for and receive a work permit. This would allow them to freely cross the border every day, in plain sight. Not a good plan.

Second, what are we really doing by encouraging people to illegally enter our country? What do our laws mean if we don't enforce them? Instead of offering amnesty, how about rounding up the illegal aliens and shipping them back to Mexico? That would be a start. By the way, they are illegal aliens...not the more politically correct "undocumented workers" nonsense.

The president has a real battle on his hands. By one member's count, there are 180 GOP members in the House that oppose his plan. We'll see what happens.

If we reward law breakers by granting them amnesty, they will keep breaking laws because they will have NO respect or fear for the rest of our laws. It's a bad message to send to our kids. How can we tell them that they have to obey the law, when we reward illegals for breaking them? Law breakers need to be punished.

That said, If our so called "law makers" don't enforce the laws of the land they need to be impeached for dereliction of duty, and treason. We need to get the paper work ready to impeach ALL of those who don't enforce our immigration laws!! It would be so rewarding to pop them as soon as the vote is taken. LOL Can we do that?

That is the ONLY thing that would wake some of those idiots up. They certainly don't listen to their constituents.

From a speech by Booker T. Washington, 1895, Atlanta:

"...To those of the white race who look to the incoming of those of foreign birth and strange tongue and habits for the prosperity of the South, were I permitted I would repeat what I say to my own race, "Cast down your bucket where you are." Cast it down among the eight millions of Negroes whose habits you know, whose fidelity and love you have tested in days when to have proved treacherous meant the ruin of your firesides. Cast down your bucket among these people who have, without strikes and labour wars, tilled your fields, cleared your forests, builded your railroads and cities, and brought forth treasures from the bowels of the earth, and helped make possible this magnificent representation of the progress of the South. Casting down your bucket among my people, helping and encouraging them as you are doing on these grounds, and to the education of head, hand and heart, you will find that they will buy your surplus land, make blossom the waste places in your fields, and run your factories..."

That's for sure!! IF they don't listen to us on this, they won't listen to us on anything. Before we know it, they will put us under the UN control. We HAVE to stop them NOW!! What ever it takes!

Can "we" impeach them. Yes and no. (short version) Judges and president can be impeached by the congress. Congressmen pretty much have to be voted out, because they police their own. Make it known they will be voted out, and most of them will listen. It's gone from 72 to 180 republican congressmen showing for better illegal reform. Some of that may be "show", but they are listening. Don't stop telling them what you think.

Congress: Toll free 1-877-762-8762
www.house.gov

www.senate.gov ALERT! There is one republican senator, Jim Inhofe, who had the guts to speak up on illegal immigration, so the place really needs some work. This is where any good bill will die a cold lonely death.

There are also petitions on line with hundreds of thousands of signers, I don't have a link at the moment, but someone here will. Do anything legal and ethical you can think of. Copy the best articles, hand them out.

No one deserves to be asleep over this one. Because the other side, a small minority, has the money in this fight from MALDEF, Western Growers Assn, AARP, WALMART, George Soros, La Raza, and even this administration has been known to sanction payment for pushing an agenda. We will see if we the people have the power over our government we're supposed to.

Incredible. I have a book about his life and don't ever remember reading that. We spend too much time on these machines! Thanks!

To get rid of them, there is no impeachment necessary. The process is called representative reinforcement, a.k.a. "Vote the bums out!" If you don't like your congressman's stand on immigration, vote for a new one. The only paperwork involved is in getting a viable opponent to file for election in time and making sure you and all your fellow angry constituents are registered to vote.

Yes, I know we can vote them out, but that takes too long. We need to start impeachment proceedings on them out as soon as we know they support amnesty. That way they will know we are fed up!

I know, it sucks. Unfortunately, that's the only way ordinary citizens can do anything. Congressmen cannot be "impeached." Only the House and Senate can kick its own members out, and that's usually only done in cases of gross misconduct or conviction of a felony... looks like you'll have to wait 2 more years.

they have no clue at all ---- they want to Mexicanize the USA without knowing what that really means.

Man have you got that pegged.
This morning I went to 3 notary's... all closed. The 4th was opened, and while I was waiting for the notary to finish up I noticed a CHICANO publication laying on a corner table. On my way out, I took a copy. "Viva La Causa!" Chicano? Means not just mexicano, mexican american or latino... it means someone whose heart (corazona) is 100% for La Raza, who is willing and able to take action any day on behalf of injustices... an idea whose time is never gone... we, of ancient culture and distinct Raza history will never forget where we came from and who we are... our lands were stolen from us... even now the total secrets are kept hidden by many.
