I follow the WA state Supreme Court very closely. When this gets to the state supreme court, it will most likely be a unanimus decision for a re-vote. i would guess that 2-3 justices will recuse themselves. Fairhurst, for sure, since she is a close friend of Gregoire. Sanders may recuse or be asked by the democrats to recuse. CJ Alexander should recuse himself and I would say it is about a 50-50 chance he will. He has some personal reasons for wanting Gregoire to be the governor.

People on earlier threads have said that although the court is very liberal, some of them may have consciences. Let's hope that's true.

I don't think there is a chance in the world that SCOTUS will reverse them if they give it to Gregoire. The Lautenberg precedent makes that pretty clear.
