What the hell does Wallmart have surveillance cameras for if no security is watching them? Is it just they are worried about theft or vandalism?
Sorry, Wallmart doesn't get off on this one! They obviously had no security proceedures, monitoring, or policies for their employees. If someone fell in their parking lot, they would be responsible.
Responsible companies deal with the security issue for employees and customers. I hope the girl's family does sue them to get them to hire a security company to do an assessment and offer SOME reasonable security precautions.
Wal-Mart is under NO legal obligation to even have security cameras, much less monitor them 24/7.
I knew that somebody would find a justification to make this murderer Wal-Mart's responsibility.
Fine answer - sue Wal-Mart.
And you equate that with a willful kidnapping and murder?
Yeah, Right, only because we have far to many anal retentive type yahoos who have law degrees.
Used to be if you fell down you would try to get up quickly so as not to be embarrassed by your clumsiness.
Now with the litigious society we live in today most folks after they fall are looking for a lawyer even before they get up off the damned ground.
there is no reason to even have security cameras if :
1. they don't work or produce fuzzy pictures.....
2. no one is watching them to prevent crimes.....
its a shame that companies don't have a little more reguard for their employees....would it have been too much to have a watchman out there walking people to their cars?
Sorry...but you are incorrect. One cannot prevent all that can/could/might happen in life.
I'm quite sure some yahoo Jacoby will take Walmart to court on this horrific crime....But, based on the info in this article...the only one responsible is the perp. I hope a court throws the lawsuit out. And I hope they execute the miserable excuse...ASAP.
