there = these
Don't let my sarcasm be misleading.
I didn't know about the Food and Forgage Act. But a 'university' should.
Oregon Ping
Please notify me via FReepmail if you would like to be added to or taken off the Oregon Ping List.
another reason why I will never go to the UofO
Good job! I was just ready to put up their website, but you have taken care of it!
And ask the if they would like to lose their federal money????
**Well, the UofO needs to close for a week and strip all the profs offices of political statements, too**
Good idea...........someone send it to the president of the University of Oregon!
Another good idea!
Send all these pics and bios to the president of U of O!
Not surprising considering it's a college in Oregon.
You can add Sgt Justin Eyerly (KIA) and Nathan Melton (2 times WIA) to your list of Oregon National Guardsmen not supported by the faculty of the UofO.
>So sad what the liberals have done to our country. It is so despicable and disgusting at times that one desires revenge.<
So sad that the conservatives haven't been able to counteract what the liberals have done to our country. It may be late, but is it ever TOO late to do something about it? At times one desires revenge? How about outrage with a fire in the belly for putting things right? It starts at the ballot box -- it always has, but it takes time and dedication to the preservation of our precious heritage to make an educated vote. Sadly, too few took the time.
BINGO!!
They should go through the halls and offices and parking lots and file complaints about EVERY SINGLE THING THEY SEE that is attached to University property and supports a leftist agenda - and PUBLICIZE it.
The Lie-berals have REALLY stepped in it with this one. If they fail to apply the satandard uniformly, they can be sued for violation of equal protection.
Yeah!!!
I understand your initial concern; to the rest of the country Oregon tends to look like a bunch of nutcases. However, we aren't as much of a blue state as some people believe. We used to be fairly conservative, but I suspect that the mass of Californians moving up here skewed us to the left quite a bit. The good news is that we are trending back towards conservative again.
Check out this graph of the voter registration split over the year:

There are still a lot of decent people here, especially if you get away from Portland, Eugene, or Ashland.
What a bunch of A-holes!
What if some of us are offended by idiots, ingrates, and utterly selfish D-bags?!?
Many of the magnetic ribbons in Eugene and Corvalis were sold by the spouses and mothers of the Oregon National Guard serving in Iraq and Afghanistan to pay for their troops round trip airfare home on leave. I bought several at the Albany gun show back in October while manning the Republican booth. I gave most of them away, but have one left on my car. It is camouflage and reads, Home Of The Free Because Of The Brave.
Yes, they should. I wasn't really that taken in, but the simple fact that I didn't know that (even though I never went to college) tells me my own edu-makashun was lacking! Even high schools are falling down on the job, it seems.
LOL!
