I can see Rudyard,Lumberyard, or Stockcar,but Stockyard?
Maybe her folks were dsylexic butchers?

That's such a sad statement...she SHOULD be best know for her role as Rizzo in "Grease".
I, for one, have never watched this West Wing show...blah...

So long as I was guaranteed that RR was already President I could afford to be compassionate. Remember what John Anderson was like? He was a Sad Sack if ever there was one. He's the kind you just wanted to put into a home somewhere so that he wouldn't hurt himself anymore.

Stockard is the daughter of Carol Channing, the world's greatest female female impersonator. Stockard seemed a promising actress when she started acting years ago, but never went anywhere special with her career. Could be because of her affection for booze?
My extremely liberal friends, who are professional movie fans if there is such a thing, detest Smitts because he once lived with a 14-year-old girl. The scandal was pretty much covered up. Of course, in Ho-Wood, living with a 14-year-old is not scandalous behavior.
I think it is 1. to imply the real president's wife and 2. the leftists who see west wing as their altered reality of choice.
Guess that kind of means that Alda won't be winning the election. Can't have a positive image of a republican on NBC.
