Mexico has been a hellhole since its revolution in the early 20th century.

Geez - we just had a violent kidnapping that turned into murder here in Dallas this last week ... are we seeing the evolution of the openly violent Mexican gangs?

I have never understood why Americans want to visit Mexico. It is just rampant with criminals, that including the police and military.

I had neighbors that went down there. The man had a heart attack and died. You would not believe what the widow went through to get him back here and the money it cost her. Blackmail.

Unless there are some compelling business reasons, I'm not sure why Americans visit Mexico, and I say this as someone who was pressured into visiting last month by my relatives.

Mexico sucks rocks. The rest of Central America is safe and the people are friendly to Americans.

I'll wait for the fed to issue travel warnings to the Mexicans traveling into the US.

Right. Nevermind.

I think it's interesting that Rice was confirmed this morning and there was a news item that she would be quickly sworn in today (with a formal swearing-in held Friday for the traditional photo-op) and out comes this advisory.

The filthy corrupt hellhole known as Mexico is awash in narco violence in it's own country and is also exporting here to the the good old USA. In a few more years you won't be able to tell the two countries apart.

.......saying violent criminal activity, including murder and kidnaping, has increased in its northern border region.

Meanwhile, most of our elected fools appear to be completely unconcerned about the massive criminal activity committed by illegal aliens from Mexico right here in the U.S.

violent criminal activity, including murder and kidnaping, has increased in its northern border region.

So, is this the fault of the volunteer militia at our southern border?

Or, does this mean, we don't need no militia at our southern borders because all the Mexicans that are at their northern border won't illegally cross into our southern border?

Or, does this mean that the illegals who come into the U.S. are NOT the violent, murderous, kidnapping types? (/sarcasm)

I have lived in San Diego most of my adult life and used to cross the border four or five times a year.
All that has changed now. The only way you'll find the wife and me in Mexico is by way of a cruise ship.
One day in port is more than enough. couple of hours and we're back on board Safe,Warm, and gone the next day.

Viva Mexico. And may God Continue to Bless the U.S.of A.

Do I feel the borders are closing in? Oh please? Oh please!

Would appreciate a case of claustrophobia in this scenario.

WASHINGTON (AP) - The State Department on Wednesday issued a travel warning for Americans visiting Mexico, saying violent criminal activity, including murder and kidnaping, has increased in its northern border region.
